Could'nt agree more. We have been beset by division and inertia because of it for far too long.. Unity at board level will provide the solid foundations for the club to move forward again.

Plenty of time for that ! In the meantime it will be BAU with the contracted players reporting back and training under Wotte.

Of course I will.. I voted on the Manager thread to support " Whoever the new regime deem as right to manage our club".. After the last 5 or 6 years of turmoil and crap, I'm just happy to have the opportunity of a fresh start with new leadership.

Good post and you are so right ! I would imagine the main cause of impatience is eminating from some posters who have nothing to post about currently ! But all that will change in due course.

Leon has been part of the problem over the last 3 years, being part of the leadership team that was riven with destructive dis-unity, and I really want to see all the baggage that contributed to our situation removed from positions of power at the club. No problem with Leon having a non executive "Vice-President" type role as recognition of his generosity, but no more than that.

Voted that whoever the new owner regards as right for the club I would support. But would not object to Dowie, Tisdale or indeed Boothroyd as options. I quite like Wotte but like everything else, I would much prefer a complete break from the past. However, I would be very guarded about Ince for the simple reason that I think he feels that he is a cut above and would be off without a second thought if a higher league club came knocking - I would love to see stability for once !

Fickle are'nt I Its been a long time since I have felt positive about the club, but this new consortium might well just be the catalyst who turns our fortunes around.

While I was always against Adminstration due to the risks involved and that all choices would be removed from us, I do concede that it has had the desired affect in driving all our past woes and the individuals that caused them out of positions of power at the club - And that includes all 3 Amigos..

The biggest lesson that can be learned from the last few years ! Act as a united and constructive board and do not air any disagreements in the media :

Would rather we invested in the playing squad and left out an overseas pre-season tour... Everything appears to be much more rosy financially but we are hardly affluent yet !

Absolutely Right ! For all his years of loyalty, for all the pleasure he gave us in his playing pomp, and for standing up for the club in its greatest hour of need makes this man untouchable in my eyes. I look forward to the day when his statue adorns the front of SMS beside Ted's.

Spending half my life in London now and will be only able to attend a certain amount of home games. However, I will of course buy a Membership and support home and away whenever I can.

I hate the smell of "Burning Martyr" ! I stopped going because of the crap served up on the pitch that was not value for money, and I suspect 99.99% of other stayaways did the same !
