Personally I would love him to come back and finish what he started.. However, I am also just as content to let our new owners decide who is best to manage the club.

Get over yourself will you ! Why don't you let our credible new owners appoint whoever they see fit for the role, without you running around outside SMS with a pitchfork ! They have already proven that they can make tough decisions for the good of the club and I trust them totally on this one too.

I would be surprised.. I work for Aviva and it seems that they are throwing the kitchen sink at British athletics right now, especially to maximise coverage at the 2012 Olympics. Other than NCFC ( Which seemingly was a political move), much of their sponsorship is geared to putting the brand into a more global vision. However, stranger things have happened. I'm just looking for some good, positive news today - We are long overdue some.

So is it a battle between a Swiss consortium and an Austrian consortium, or is someone's knowledge of geography woefully lacking ? I think this is a wind-up personally.

Fair assessment. I have never trusted his judgement and would have been underwhelmed with his inclusion in a position of leadership at the club. However, his generosity receives my grateful thanks.

Strange as it may seem I see this as a positive. I mean if we are to be wound up on Friday as Fry has intimated, then by waiting a week Forest could have got him on a free....?? Perhaps Fry remains confident of concluding a deal.
