Whether there's any truth in this or not I don't know but Reading are also struggling big time after being bought by Chinese owners and are facing some heavy criticism from fans for not sacking Stam (sound familiar?). Basically the new owner won't get rid of Stam until the end of the season as he feels it's bring shame/embarrassment upon himself as it'll be an admittance of failure of him for not thoroughly doing his research on the club before buying. Could we be in a similar position where Gao has informed us we can't sack the useless ****?
-
The same manager that simply stood there with his arms folder for 20 minutes when it was 3-0 and never once even attempted to motivate or change things. Attitude reflects leadership.
-
Should fans be calling supporters meetings to plan protests now?
supersonic replied to CLOTH EARS's topic in The Saints
Yes, today there should have been far more protests than there were, they aren’t organised -
Back to the hotel after the game. Worst I’ve ever seen, no fight, no desire, no passion, no effort, no ****ing hope. McCarthy kept us in it with 2 good saves, we were lucky Newcastle took their foot off the gas at 3-0. It took us 29 minutes to have a shot at goal and 58 minutes to have a shot on target. Even at 3-0 MP still stood there with his arms folded and didn’t attempt to motivate the players once. Why he took off Lemina at half time and put on Long instead of Gabbi is moronic. Bertrand, Cedric, Hoedt, Redmond, Gabbi and Long all walked straight off the pitch at the end, no acknowledgement to the fans who had to suffer that pile of **** after a 6 hour journey. Only Sims and McCarthy looked interested, all the senior players don’t look interested.
-
This will be the only game we win this season. Gives us a chance to scout them ahead of our league fixtures next season.
-
That's the bit i'm most looking forward to
-
Palace are going to nick this...
-
By left I assume you mean left on the bench?
-
Bloody hell ,where did that come from? Positive play from Redmond, finally a decent ball in the box and we score. No more sloppy mistakes please.
-
The most frustrating part is that we have enough quality in the squad. Bar McCarthy and Sims, none of team look motivated or interested in playing. Two years of **** poor management and **** poor recruitment strategy is coming back to bite us in the arse...and the marks will last for a while.
-
Sim's has looked more threatening in 3 minutes than we have all season. Apart from the Everton game, have we ever put in a decent cross?
-
We've wasted so many crosses this season and get done from one again. 3 defenders just stood there watching. Absolutely abysmal as usual.
-
any streams for today's game? Probably a bit early I know

I'm sorry that Saturday's match inconvenienced your weekend where you quite clearly had plans which didn't involve playing football. Despite being one of the more senior and highest paid players at the club, it seems you still can't motivate yourself to do the job millions of kids would die for. Thanks, also, for walking straight down the tunnel at the end of the game without even acknowledging the existence of the fans who travelled 250 miles to support the team that you were given the Captaincy for. I hope in the summer, whatever happens, you get what you want and leave the club, it's attitudes like yours that have got us in this position. Even though you don't want to be here, you're here until the summer so perhaps try a little? Thanks. Honourable mentions: Gabbi.

Great news. His limitations have nothing to do with his injury at all. I appreciate Centre-backs aren’t going to be the most technically gifted, however for an international footballer to not be able to use both feet is worrying. Added to that, he has the turning circle of the moon. One good performance at OT isn’t much to rave about.
-
Sturridge will score, Pardew will get one over on us and Shane "Mr. Prolific" Long will start
-
He's likely to be some random 17 year old nobody's ever heard of
-
Literally just **** off you useless, incompetent, moronic ****. If it means you’ll leave you can have the ****ing Falklands
-
What’s the point in keeping him until the end of the season?
-
With Redmond seemingly banned from the first team, our failure to bring in a packet winger is even more criminal. Still a massive 0/10 for me.
-
HAS to go, absolutely has to. We deserve answers as to why he thinks the events of the past 18 months are acceptable. Zero faith in him to deliver anything other than disappointment
-
absolute shambles from top to bottom. Pellegrino HAS to go, it'll be 6 weeks too late, but he has to. Reed can ****ing go with him too, useless fat ***** sat there watching the match with his tea-cosy hat on pretending everything's fine.
