  1. Deleted because it was over the top.
  2. on Argentina as they might very well have a trip to the Falklands again. "Argentina, the South American nation whose wealth was once destined to rival Australia’s, is looking to avoid a second technical default in a month on repayments to a group of bondholders who exchanged old debt for new, discounted securities after the country’s history-making US$95 billion default in 2001." Link to this very interesting article:- http://www.smh.com.au/business/vultures-again-circle-as-argentina-faces-possible-default-crisis-20140730-zyh6m.html#ixzz38vY2u7Bb They might try and take the populations mind off this like they did in 1982, I have never trusted them since that day. However IF they do will the UK Govt do anything to fight it ? I have my doubts somehow.
  3. Yes I noticed that whilst watching the TV. I also found it a bit strange that it started on a Sunday when If it had to start at a weekend why not on the Saturday ? Was it because the ECB and Hampshire top bods don't appear to like each other and they didn't want Hampshire to get as much benefit ?
  4. As someone who believes in "Karma" perhaps we ought to ease up on that lot a bit ? Well only until our own lot sort themselves out that is.
  5. I do wonder if Mr M. Liebherr would have allowed his beloved Saints to get into this mess. I have no proof of course but I sincerely doubt it. The person now in control is IMHO totally responsible for a lot of us being portrayed as ungrateful.
  6. Sorry but as the club have conned me into believing them too many times now I can no longer trust them one iota. I won't believe anything they say until I see it on the BBC or Sky websites.
  7. Well I first went to The Dell in 1954 and have been hooked ever since.Whilst I can never ever stop following them I am far from as enthusiastic as in the past and will no longer buy Saints stuff via the internet. Also as others have said I can no longer be bothered with the PL and so called FFP joke rules. A unhappy marriage can be got over by getting a divorce ( I know not always but in the majority of cases ) but a marriage between a supporter and "their club" can never be dissolved so easily. I also fear back to back relegations as I feel that RK and even more players won't hang around much longer and TBF who would like to work in the situation that Saints now find themselves in ? Being old fashioned I always felt that a company tried to look after its customers but for the past few months the feeling that the Saints owner don't really give a stuff about anyone is getting stronger by the day. I would honestly love to be proved very wrong.
  8. IMHO a short answer to the OP - Yes She Is
  9. Seems to me that the laid back sloths, a.k.a. "something will happen one day lot" are the sort who wait for everything to be given to them on a plate. It needs get up and go NOW. I am worried by the almost complete lack of any sign that Saints are even trying to sort things out. Is the management really from Spain ? They believe in manyana a lot.
  10. Don't you mean we pretty much have to sign two this week AND two next week AND the week after that as well?
  11. In Queensland The owner of a golf course on the Gold Coast was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help. He called her into his office and said, “You graduated from the University of Queensland and I need some help. If I was to give you $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?” The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, “Everything but my earrings.” In Tasmania A senior citizen in Tasmania was overheard saying, “When the end of the world comes, I hope to be here.” When asked why, he replied, “I’d rather be in Tasmania ‘cause everything happens in Tasmania 20 years later than in the rest of the world.” In Western Australia A WA highway patrol pulled over a car on the main road. The copper asked, “Got any ID?” The driver replied, “about what?” In Victoria The copper pulled up next to the guy unloading garbage out of his ute into the ditch. The copper asked, “Why are you dumping garbage in the ditch? Don’t you see that sign right over your head.” “Yep,” he replied. “That’s why I’m dumpin’ it here, ‘cause it says: ‘Fine For Dumping Garbage.’” >
  12. How I would like to believe you but I am struggling to find 3 worse than our present squad. Of course that could change and Saints might finally pull their f**king finger out and actually buy some excellent players BUT.......????? ( Any odds being quoted for Saints being back playing the skates in L1 within 3 seasons ? )
  13. The way events are turning out only pompey fans can think everything will be fine at Saints in the coming season. So as they are always telling others to F.O. I suggest you follow your own advice and F.O. and go and follow your real club down the M27. Must say that there are a lot more on here than I thought there was in the past. No true Saints fan can possibly think all will be as good as last year.
  14. Yet another reason showing why Women and Football just don't mix and must be kept apart.
  15. Well he knows he will get paid his contract in full and when Saints get relegated his reputation will still be ok as everyone will know where the real fault lays. ( Looking at YOU KL )
  16. If he isn't regretting it at the moment I am sure it won't be long before he does. Also I wonder what the new signings think ?
  17. And this would be a bad thing ?
  18. Only a true pompey fan would be saying this
  19. I am starting to think that the so called "bedwetters" are the only ones who really have Saints best interests at heart. To me all of those who say don't worry, it will be ok and why don't the betwetters go away are just secret pompey fans. Lets face it only pompey fans could possibly agree with what is happening at the moment. It is the true fans who are very, very worried. My joke about Saints preparing in advance for life in L1 by signing that goalkeeper from a Conference side is starting to appear not such a joke after all.
  20. Remember the old days when someone would post a picture of a medal ?
  21. Of course it could just be preparing for life back in L1 Just joking but I thought I would be the first to say what I am sure one or two really believe that it could be the case.
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdQqcxyCvPg
  23. It's a good job that I don't own Saints as if I did I would just close down the whole club and get rid of everyone. I am fed up with players refusing to honour their contracts when it suits them, wonder how they would like it if the owners refused to pay the money hungry to**ers if they got injured and couldn't play ? I bet they would bleat about having a contract that must to honoured then.
  24. That was the problem, just a shame he wasn't world class much more of the time.
  25. A ready made spy to tip his father off about emerging talent so that Spurs scouts can have more time elsewhere to look for up and coming players.
