Look he is a Canadian in charge of an English club which has mainly English players. Perhaps he is getting confused as when most other PL teams turn up to play they have lots of European players.

It does appear that way but don't forget every manager that went there knew this but still thought that they would be different. I expect MP would also think that he could be the one to do much better than the others. You have to be self confident as a Football manager. Having said that though most drug addicts start by thinking that they control the drugs and can stop at any time they want when really the drug always controls the addict. NO I am NOT saying MP is a drug addict.

How long before a certain poster calls for Mr Hoddle to be re-appointed as manager IF MP goes?

Clyne on Poch and Uncertainty in Squad

I agree and to me it is starting to seem like the board isn't as au fait with Football as it perhaps thought it was. Having said that surely Les Reed should be able to educate them ? -
http://www.salzburgtimes.at/news/General_News/2014-05-20/26914/Arab_Guests_Get_Good_Manners_Guide_From_Salzburg_Tourism_Officials "Tourism chiefs in Salzburg have created an etiquette guide for Arabs in a bid to stop them trying to haggle over prices, cooking in their rooms, and dumping their litter around the region." "The pamphlets are being handed out to Arabic guests in the lakeside resort of Zell am See, regarded as one of the most picturesque and expensive of Austria's tourist destinations." "The most controversial part of the booklet was a debate about whether or not to mention clothing and the Burka at all. The worry was that it could be seen as an attack on Islam. In the end it was included together with the message that Austrian women can choose to dress themselves how they want and that black is a sign of mourning. It adds that the people from the region are used to looking into the laughing face of others in order to gain a first impression and in order to build trust. With this in mind, locals would be glad when visitors adopted the Austrian mentality. It then also points out that children need to wear seat belts in the car, rubbish needs to be put in the bins, food should not be eaten on the floor of the hotel and cooking in the rooms is not tolerated, and prices are not to be negotiated.

"No Planes Hit The Twin Towers" claims ex-CIA agent
Saint in Paradise replied to SO16_Saint's topic in The Lounge
I post the following for you to read and digest. I am not saying if I do or don't think that it is true or false. However it is interesting for those with open inquiring minds who don't believe everything Govts tell them. Never believe anything until you yourself have done your own extensive investigation and found out as much as you can (about any subject,) don't just follow popular ideas. "According to a retired FXX agent specializing in Israeli counter intel: The type of nuclear devices used on 911 were a modified version of the W-54 nuclear artillery shells that were covertly provided to the Israelis between 1988 and 1998 from US surplus stockpiles illegally exported during the Bush/Clinton era. Chemical analysis done by DOE Sandi was able to identify the chemical/radiation footprint or fingerprint of the warheads based on samples taken after 911 of the fallout at ground zero. (Editor’s note: Nuclear weapon use at ground zero is confirmed from multiple sources) All plutonium based warheads have a chemical fingerprint that can identify the type of design and where the PU was made and how old it is. This was the 911 blackmail on Bush 1 and 2, the illegal transfer of surplus US nuclear weapons to the Israelis and why the continued cover up, along with the stolen gold and stock fraud that was going on Wall Street etc. According to file ENW57.pdf on page 66. (Editor’s note: Document received and confirmed) Only a 2 kiloton device was needed to drop the buildings. A 2 kiloton device will produce a fireball of apx 150 to 200 feet in diameter at over 4000 degrees Centigrade. Just large enough to melt the I beams of the central core of the building and drop them in place. The light flash would last less than 1 second and primarily be in the UV light range. Overpressure would only be at 60PSI max and directed upwards with the blast. See underground effect. Fallout would be minimal and located to within ground zero range only. Radiation would drop to acceptable levels within 72 hrs. after the blast. Most fall out was trapped in the cement dust thus causing all of the recent cancer deaths that we are now seeing in NYC amongst first responders. (Editor’s note: Consistent with site data)" For a lot more from the same article:- http://goldenageofgaia.com/2014/05/21/possible-intelligence-leak-russia-opens-files-on-nuclear-911-and-israeli-proliferation/#more-218810 . -
Cortese speaking to BBC for first time since leaving Saints
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I wonder IF he is after Aston Villa ? "I know I will get into running a football club. I can't tell you the details at this moment. I am in Milan because I like Milan, but everyone who knows me knows I am most interested in the Premier League." So can we expect to see him back in football soon? "Maybe," he says with a smile. When I suggest he looks like he knows something, he simply responds "maybe". -
Real men don't know other mens birthdays - only women remember birthdays.

See I knew persons from pompey don't read proper "will be the Blues’ new permanent training base after a 30-year lease was signed on the site. The 40 year bit was this "This (a permanent training base) is something that Pompey have been crying out for from when I first came to the club nearly 40 years ago."
-
Bit dangerous saying that isn't it ? Unless of course you have 100% proof. I can't afford an increase in the membership fee if you get sued and lose.

Don't forget that St Chalet saw through him the other night so perhaps RK isn't as good as some think ?

Southampton can't finish in the top 4!
Saint in Paradise replied to aussiesaint20's topic in The Saints
One tiny snag is that the season is a lot longer than just 15 matches. -
Only 17 clubs in world football have...
Saint in Paradise replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
To be really pedantic Saints are 20th not 18th as in alphabetical order both Roma and Schalke should appear before Southampton. -
Thank goodness the WC will be here soon to take everyones mind away from this kind of stuff.

If the Echo keeps on annoying the club I can see the club once again waiting until midnight and then making a statement so it is too late for the Echos deadline.

Well for what it is worth that young lady has my total respect. She didn't sell as soon as her late great father died when I suspect, but of course don't know, that others may have advised her to. She appears to have gradually taken to being the owner of a foreign, to her, football club and looks like she will be there for a long time. Some on here make me laugh - cringe when they say she should spend her money because they say she must. I wonder what their reaction would be if a stranger went up to them demanding money to be spent on them ? Probably call the police and claim that person tried to mug them.
-
Yes and unlike some he doesn't go all precious when criticized.

Everyone I have met since Sunday, NZ time, has been made aware that Saints might have 3 players in the England squad. I also mentioned it might have been 4 but for Jays injury. Now that it is official I shall now have great pleasure in reminding same that Saints now defo have 3. :D:D

I fully understand why AL would love to move to Liverpool - I would do the exact same if I was him. However why can't he and the clubs just sign an agreement saying he will sign permanently after the WC. Saints need the worldwide publicity - Liverpool don't need it as much as they are already very well known. I do worry that yet again when Saints have a chance in a lifetime to go one step further the people in charge are not of a good enough standard to understand how to do so.

http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/11106296.UPDATE__Worst_pub_in_Britain__Sex_and_violence_horror_for_PubSpy_at_Lullingstone_Castle__Swanley___redhead_responds/?ref=ar Shameless Swanley. Ever seen a mindless thug push a bespectacled, grey-haired, 25-stone man to the floor before kicking him ferociously in the head until he was senseless? Try an early evening in the Lullingstone Castle. Perhaps such barbaric acts are normal for 6.45 on a Tuesday evening in this particular Swanley boozer. Certainly no-one in the pub seemed concerned, even at the height of the attack, the pool balls were still being potted, mindless conversations continued and the kids didn’t even look up from their homework. As the ancient songs from the vintage TV blared out, covering most of the obscenities and violence, I couldn’t help but overhear one conversation behind me. He (the instantly likeable chap) said: “Well, should I come round yours or not? If I’m on for some then I’ll come, if not I’ll stay and get p***ed.” She (the one with dyed red hair) said: “I’ve got to make tea and put the kids to bed. I was thinking of watching a DVD.” He said: “Look, am I on or not, cos I can always stay and drink.” She said: “You really don’t know me yet, do you?” And off they went into the night with her two kids, though the same door which the man beaten senseless had finally managed to drag himself through some minutes earlier. In that article there is a link to his review a year earlier. Barry Sanchez - A Man for One Seasons
Saint in Paradise replied to Bearsy's topic in The Muppet Show
Hey Bear in your second line how did you manage to get the "c" word past the mods ? Bet everyone else would get lots of fractions if we posted that -
Maybe he is taking his first step in building up a property portfolio for when he retires ? Saints shouldn't sell anyone before England get knocked out of the WC, possibly sign agreements to sell after the WC ? Having players on show worldwide will do wonders for building the international commercial awareness in Saints that the club say they want. It would also remind other players that Saints are a better club to sign for than perhaps they thought. .
-
Ah a quote from the song "Ramble on" by Led Zep Mind you that would apply more to Barry Sanchez than you.

Just seen a picture of the winner, made my skin crawl even after I had vomited. Me wearing a Pompey shirt wouldn't have had 10% of that effect. .
