  1. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/conservative/10093996/Downing-Street-rocked-by-revelations-of-secret-affair.html "The identities of those involved cannot be revealed for legal reasons, but is said that the relationship was between two middle-aged figures and has now come to an end." How old is middle-aged ?? Who really cares that much these days as it would seem no sexy Russian spies were involved unlike the 1960's with Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies. I have ( On other sites ) seen some 4 names mentioned and to me none are old enough to be what I consider middle-aged. You can tell it's the off season
  2. You can move the picture around, see not only the FE position but also the pilots bit. http://www.nmusafvirtualtour.com/media/062/B-36J%20Engineer.html
  3. Grey Crab please tell us all about your many personal experiences that allow you to say:- "Clearly England is better than Norway."
  4. This pimpey thread is a bit small compared to this one which started on 16th Jan 2012 http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/xdtalk-chatter-box/192539-never-never-ever-ever-ending-thread-part-iii-net-3-0-a-10628.html
  5. Good Luck and I hope all goes well for you St Chalet. Over several years I have met some South Africans who have come to NZ on holiday and they have said that they would love to move to NZ if they could. They were happy to go back to SA. On the flip sign of the coin my wife was born in Durban and she has never even thought of going back even for a holiday. We have met some others from SA who have immigrated here and they are so so pleased to have, in their words, "escaped". Just shows that there are different views and that could apply to any country, some love and some dislike said country all you can do is go and judge for yourself. As I said I wish you good luck as I do to anyone who goes to another country, it's a massive step. .
  6. I win the dinlo award  You scored 2 out of a possible 10 Have you considered another sport?
  7. Art Nalls, the ex US Marine Lt Colonel, has spent a small fortune and countless hours on restoring to airworthy condition his ex Royal Navy Sea Harrier F/A2, XZ439. Art would really like to bring 'the old girl' back to the UK but is being denied by our Civil Aviation Authority who say it is too dangerous to display in the UK at airshows. This is far from the truth as Art and his team have successfully completed over 100 flights in the US without any problems . Please sign this petition and help bring back to the UK skies this legend of British aviation. http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/civil-aviation-authority-uk-allow-art-nalls-to-display-his-ex-royal-navy-sea-harrier-at-uk-air-shows?utm_campaign=signature_receipt&utm_medium=email&utm_source=share_petition .
  8. BTF perhaps he has mates or family in the forces then? Have to agree with the shop though seeing as he is preparing food just in case.
  9. Now here is an excellent new sniper rifle:- http://venturebeat.com/2013/05/18/this-22k-sniper-rifle-comes-with-a-wifi-server-usb-ports-an-ipad-mini-and-aims-itself/ Apple fans will like it as well.
  10. Most BMW drivers don't know they have indicators and so don't use them.
  11. It might have gone quiet in the media but :- Six New Zealanders are experiencing the ongoing tensions between Britain and Argentina in the South Atlantic but have been instructed not to talk about that. The six, members of `Team Rat', are on the island of South Georgia, a British overseas territory 2700km from the Argentine coast and one of the islands where there was fighting 31 years ago in the Falklands war. They have been part of a 26-strong South Georgia Heritage Trust team attempting to eradicate rats from the island. The project's chief pilot and flight operations manager Peter Garden, of Wanaka, responded by email this week to Otago Daily Times questions about the end of this year's rat poisoning. Asked what he was able to say about the presence of the Argentine and British navies in the vicinity of South Georgia, Mr Garden wrote: ''At the moment the issue with the Argentinian presence close to the island is still rather tense and we are required not to send emails with details of ship movements.'' Wondered where DD had gone.
  12. insulted and demonised over the past 50 years by angry vociferous women driven by misandry (hatred of men). Men’s and boys’ interests have been ever more assaulted by the actions and inactions of politicians seeking to placate those women, particularly over the past 30 years, with no democratic mandate to do so. Conservative and Labour governments have been equally bad in this respect, and the current Conservative-led coalition is the worst of them all, with David Cameron slavishly following policy directions set by Harriet Harman and other militant feminist politicians over the past 30 years. 13. Could well be low blood pressure BUT a visit to the Doctors is essential. Asking for medical advice on a football forum isn't the best idea as shown by some of the moronic replies in a so called sensible forum - The Lounge.
  14. Extreme Muslim leaders do not have the same mind set that so called Western leaders do. Ordinary Muslims, when push comes to shove and I do mean when not if, will have no option whatsoever but to do what they are told to do or suffer major nasty consequences. No matter how people try and say that Muslims are tolerant towards non-Muslims they are only being so for as long as it suits them to do so. One day within the next 50 to 100 years the extremist Muslims will declare all out war on all non-Muslims and your way of life will alter for the worse. All of the work that women have done to gain equality with men will be instantly regarded as no longer acceptable and women will be back in the Dark Ages. I am so pleased that I won't be alive to see it happen.
  15. It's free on Sky tv in New Zealand Froch is in ring Kessler almost there
  16. You can tell a skate as his home has wheels but his car is up on blocks in the garden.
  17. As some on here say that fried chicken is so very offensive to some Americans can they also explain why there are so many fried chicken outlets in America? Surely they should have been burned down or just closed if they are that bad? Oh yes and I get really offended when someone plays the race card over a stupid comment made by a non native.
  18. Although such a sign isn't on show over here it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so. Seriously if you are ever given an official Maori greeting on their Marae the biggest insult would be if you smiled during The Challenge. As big an insult if when you were introduced to QE you swore at her.
  19. I wonder if lots from Portsmouth emigrated to Tasmania over the years ? http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/2013/05/21/05/44/ghost-camera-catches-woman-with-stepson
  20. Well said Gorgiesaint I agree with you wholeheartedly. However as I said earlier I am very pleased that NC and the Liebherrs have reached an agreement.
  21. Don't know why he is crying he will still continue to rake in more money than he needs. Oh yes and he will still manage to get his photo everywhere so we won't be able to easily avoid him even though some might really want too.
  22. Thank Goodness for that news.
  23. That bloke Terry seems to appear in a lot of photos wearing kit when he hasn't actually played. He did it last year and now this year.Rather odd I feel so perhaps someone should remind him he didn't play ? IMHO he should stop diluting the real winners sense of achievement by appearing in photos when he doesn't deserve to be in them.
  24. Now and then whilst taking people around a certain tourist attraction I mention the Pilot, by name, and his excellent crew that saved that flight and how dangerous volcanic ash can be. Slightly off topic but I bet that a tremendous amount of pilots are very scathing about these idiots. http://dtinews.vn/en/news/017004/29073/vietnam-airlines-captain-to-face-fine-for-allowing-model-to-pose-in-cockpit.html The idiot in the pic is the first officer and I wonder if it was the captain taking the photo? Anyway no pilot was in control.Doesn't matter if the auto pilot was on as they can be disconnected by accident. I would have thought that they would have lost their licences for ever but they only got fined a small amount. The captain Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Y was fined $333 and the co-pilot Nguyen Xuan Hai $143
