  2. OK I am in NZ but my question was aimed at what happens in the UK re the situation that I posted about.
  3. I used to work in Claremont Crescent many many years ago. True story.
  4. If a car is stopped because it's not insured and the driver isn't the owner, the Police get it towed how long does the actual owner who is abroad have to rectify the no insurance charge before the car is crushed?
  5. I bet there are more than that to go before the end I got up this morning and from when I went to bed 4 pages had appeared about not too much. There will probably be about 15 pages If they go bang in the next few hours. Ah well off to bed soon it's now 22.27 on the 24th.
  6. I thought the 23rd was a deadline for something or other ? Why didn't something happen ? Ah it wasn't yet another of trevors two weeks to go speeches was it ?
  7. After reading the thread about Syria I thought I would post this. A quite disturbing and in places horrific doco about N.K. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9zgjyd7hgY Watch kids picking in dirt for something to eat - genuinely don't know what to say.
  8. An excellent role model passed away on Monday U.S.A. time. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2012/07/23/sally_ride_first_us_woman_in_space_dies_at_61/ Just in case I suppose I better tell the young people that she was the first American lady astronaught.
  9. Anyone else getting fed up with trevors constant harping that "the club COULD be liquidated" rubbish to try and put pressure on people to do what they obviously have no intention of doing? Don't keep spouting off just grow some and finally actually do something - kill them. Yeh yeh well I COULD win the lottery and become a millionaire within the next two weeks or maybe I mean the next two months or maybe I really mean the next few years. Bet that don't work with the lottery for myself either.
  10. The plague is spreading Arrest made in $400 million USS Miami blaze By Charles McMahon cmcmahon@seacoastonline.com July 23, 2012 9:22 AM PORTLAND, Maine — A civilian employee of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard has been arrested in connection with the May 23 blaze that caused $400 million in damage aboard the submarine USS Miami. Casey James Fury, 24 of Portsmouth, was a civilian employee working aboard the submarine as a painter and sandblaster, according to an affidavit filed in U.S. District Court in Maine. Fury is a 2006 graduate of Portsmouth High School. Court documents show Fury has admitted to causing not only the submarine fire, but another small fire on dry dock #2 on June 16. Fury admitted to federal agents that he lit rags on fire with a lighter to start the first fire, and then lit alcohol wipes on fire in the second fire, according to court records. I know its Portsmouth in the U.S. but that town must have been started by skates form the U.K. .
  11. Yet another person medling in things he shouldn't I despare sometimes and I don't envy you youngsters your future in thge next 50 years. Good Luck. "Scientists in the US have created a synthetic creature that swims like a jellyfish using artificial materials and rat heart cells. The creature — dubbed a "medusoid" — looks like a flower with eight petals and pulses and swims when an electrical current is fed into the water, Nature reports. The project was led by Dr Kevin Kit Parker, a biophysicist at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. "Morphologically, we’ve built a jellyfish. Functionally, we’ve built a jellyfish. Genetically, this thing is a rat," Dr Parker said. .
  12. Starts off slow then watch out.
  13. IF, and I really hope it doesn't happen, a player gets assaulted and then the scumbag is found and arrested I wonder if neil allen will also be arrested and charged? I also have to say I am a tad surprised that he has been allowed to get his hatred printed so much especially considering those unknowns have been imprisoned for spouting off on what they thought was a private webpage on facebook. Now I think of it some of the comments that have supposedly been said by Trevor have been a tad insightful as well.
  14. I actually don't know how that neil allen can sleep at night after getting paid for the rubbish he gets printed. Oh hang on it's in pimpey - move along nothing to see after all.
  15. Can you all tell me the difference between pimpey fans and this lot ? http://www.wimp.com/irritatinginstrument/ They both sound the same to me
  16. He was going to put a "W" I hear but in the end decided to honour "Barbie" instead, hence the "B"
  17. Agree with this
  18. "Portsmouth will start the new campaign on minus 10 points due to their financial problems. But the Football League has informed potential investors they are guaranteed membership next term." Ha Ha Only if they meet some very stringent conditions that the writer has forgotten to mention.
  19. First how on Earth can Birch justify that ? second who is paying the extra money that will be needed ? third what will the unpaid creditors think ? I know it will only be us worried for the creditors as PFC don't ever appear to.
  20. I demand the race is run again.
  21. Slightly off topic but I thought all servicemen and women are programmed to obey orders because if they don't obey they are on a charge and risk all kinds of punishment. I thought basic training was the method used to get rid of all previous civillian thoughts so that the armed forces orders would be followed without question.
  22. You sure it's Mcleod? Looks more like Kanu at home in Nigeria to me.
  23. Just wondering if anyone has any news about Whitey Grandad and how his operation went? I don't know him but as an oldie myself I hope he is doing well after his operation.
  24. "‘We don’t think that he has any grounds for his claim. ‘We have to systematically go through it." Well every idiot knows that if you are being sued you don't admit you are in the wrong even though you know you are. IF they thought he was incorrect they should have said "He doesn't have any grounds" - not just "we don't think he has". That sounds very wishey washey to me.
  25. Much more polite than saying he is a thick as a plank who needs professional medical help??
