Doesn't suit Adkins style of play and quick moving of the ball, Adkins likes wingers that can get to the byline and whip balls in, like Chamberlain. Also has a terrible attitude it seems, my mind brings me back to how he behaved at Markus's memorial/funeral. Seems we've burnt our bridges with him as well. It's a no from me.

Same could be said for Lallana who when one-on-one with the goalie with Dickson to his left, decided to go alone when a simple tap in for Dickson would have been another goal on the scoresheet. It doesn't matter anyway because we still won convincingly. Guly was awesome today and if it wasn't for that amazing goal-line clearance would've had a much deserved hattrick.

Lampard and Gerrard never seemed to work, same could be said for Hammond and Morgan. Morgan is a good player and had a great game on Tuesday, we need to hang on to him.

Pilkington would be perfect. Left footed like Puncheon but is much more effective than Punch was on the right. He'd cost alot but he'd be worth it and could perform in the npC IMO.

I hope Appy is happy that he's knocked the lad's confidence to the extent he doesn't even clap the fans at the end. Not surprising that he was f*cked off with the boo-boys after he put in a decent performance which produced 2 assists.

It's no surprise he's lost confidence when the whole crowd groans and moans when he does one little thing wrong, whereas when Mr. Lallana misses an easy chance in front of goal not many seem to slate him.

whenever I see a Window Cleaner post I decide to ignore it as they are all so depressing and anti-Saints, it's unreal. I'm pretty sure that the "Wow factor" thing was only mentioned by some agent on twitter. I remember that the agent was saying "you'll love Cortese for this appointment, he's a clever man.. Etc etc" - I'm pretty sure that's an opinion, so if you decided to take his opinion as the gospel then that's your problem, it's not like Cortese said "I promise I will appoint a manager with the wow factor".... ffs this place gets annoying.

We've suffered some massive setbacks to our promotion campaign, no doubt. It's handy then that no other team has found any true form, and no other team has the backing we do in the January transfer window. We may be off track at the moment but I can still see us demonstrating some automatic promotion winning form after January. Let's hope it plans out nicely from now on.

We're crap compared to last season. Hard to argue otherwise. Don't see it changing dramatically this season so we'll have to write this one off.
