  1. When have you ever heard Ralph take responsibility for screwing up? If he can’t understand how we lost then that’s very worrying to be honest.
  2. Redmond obviously out because of the baby arriving yesterday but no S Armstrong or Dejenepo. Unless these guys get injured in the session after his press conference Ralph is fond of telling the odd porkie to give the opposition a curve ball
  3. Chandlers Ford was the popular place for players back in the 80’s
  4. Absolutely no surprise at all, Lampard thinks he’s better than a club like Norwich. Whether he is or not is open for debate.
  5. I'm really surprised. I thought he would stay at Rangers then walk into the Liverpool job when Klippity calls time. This way, if he screws up at Villa, his chances of getting the Liverpool job decrease markedly. If he makes a succes of it however the Liverpool job is a certainty. Hoping for a re-emergence of old Slippy G 😄
  6. Has he consulted a map and seen how far it is from Poole?
  7. Funny looking on Social Media and seeing Newcastle fans trying to convince themselves this is a good appointment. I may well be proved wrong but I cant see him doing anything up there, he isnt the kind of manager who is going to attract big name players. The appointment is a bit like buying a mansion and kitting it out with flat pack furniture from Argos.
  8. Didnt Conte turn Spurs down a few months ago ? With their star player on a season long sulk cos Levy wouldnt let him leave I cant say its an attractive proposition for him. He'd be better waiting until United pull the trigger on OGS
  9. They are a dirty lot of bastards, they were against Arsenal the other week then again today. How they got away with that forearm smash I just don’t understand, then Targett’s neck high challenge on Antonio went completely unpunished.
  10. Do we win by more if Broja was fit? Let’s hope he’s back next Friday
  11. It didn’t matter how good Forster, Lyanco, Diallo etc played mid week or over the past 3 games in the case of Diallo, the old favourites were always coming back in. Anyone who believed that bullshit about JWP not assured of his place is a mug.
  12. It doesn’t matter who played well tonight as Ralph will revert to his same old same old on Saturday. Despite the midfield looking far more fluid in the past three games the poster boy JWP will be straight back in as well.
  13. Bloody hell, even without Tino the manager still can’t pick KWP in his strongest position 🙄
  14. They were/are supposed to be installed during the next International break but someone who isnt prone to tittle tattle told me on Saturday that the new jumbo screens were too heavy to be supported by the existing brackets etc so who knows ?
  15. Yeah you are correct but to play the kid against top teams away yet leave him out of potentially winnable easier games is unfair on him.
  16. Personally I dont think he's mentally strong, nowhere near. If he was there would be an "i'll show you" attitude about his play and when hes not playing well, which lets be totally honest is more often than not, he goes missing and contributes nothing. Even Ralph has subbed him early a couple of times, once at half time if memory serves. I bet Dave Merrington, the king of mental strength and toughness, wouldnt be telling you Redmoind is mentally strong.
  17. its the million dollar question isnt it ? Last season he seemed to be Ralph's blue eyed boy, this season he's behind our own special not so fab four of Redmond, Ely, Djenepo and Walcott......oh wait, no, Ralph now sees him more as a central striker in competition with Armstrong (cant remember what game it was he stated this in the pre match press conference). Yet when he drops Armstrong he gives the spot to.......Redmond, with Tella still sat on the bench. Now whether there is an attitude problem with the player I've no idea. But its a very strange situation.
  18. Why is Adam Blackmore/Solent not allowed to speak to Ralph after matches now ? Is it a Covid safeguarding thing ? Listening to Solent on the way home even they openly admitted the Walcott selection was baffling as was the fact he lasted over 70 minutes.
  19. Yeah probably, his natural reaction whenever he fucks up is that big stupid grin on his face, it winds me up no end. Ok he shouldnt be slitting his wrists at it but fuck me show some remorse for not tapping the ball into the net from a yard. Hide your head in your shirt, stand their with a look of disbelief, but dont fuckin grin like an idiot !
  20. Djenepo was ok last week, played that great pass to Redmond which led to the goal. His reward for that was to get dropped for Theo. I don’t understand Ralph I’m afraid.
  21. When they start taking action against Klopp. Pep, Touchel, OGS etc they may start to get some respect. Klippity Klopp can say whatever he likes but as long as he sticks one of those big toothy grins in he gets away with it......or as long as he keeps managing Liverpool of course.
  22. I think it’s great, like the way it starts slow and gets faster as they get to the halfway line. Makes me think of the James Bond New Orleans funeral clips too 🤣
  23. 🙄 as is the case with most of your pedantic posts you know exactly what I meant and what point I was making.
  24. He's the best central defender we have had since VVD left. I think he will go for big money in a couple of years time.
  25. Looks a proper striker to me, we haven’t got any others given we don’t play to Armstrong’s strengths. Christ knows why it’s taken Ralph so long to start him but I’ve stopped trying to work out his decisions long ago.
