    Chants

The fact that I heard some saints fans last night saying that they were glad they were only going to the 2 games (Forest & Man Utd) proves that the chantings of: He hates plastic fans, he hates plastic faaaaans, Bradley Wright-Phillips, he hates plastic fans. Here for United, You're only here for United, Here for United, You're only here for United. Stand up, If you're here next week, Stand up, If you're here next week, Stand up, If you're here next week, Stand up, If you're here next week. were justified.
  4. People have been pretty much posting before and after 3am, yet for the last few hours until 2 mins ago i've had the same message reading "Forum is currently down for essential maintenence Back around 3am - Go out, its xmas!" Well, how could it have been if others have posted, or did it only apply to us that paid £5? Only wondering that's all.
  5. It's not to be sneezed at that's for sure.
  6. Reports in Italy suggest that former Arsenal striker Arturo Lupoli is attracting interest across Europe with Wigan Athletic, Southampton, Torino and Stuttgart all rumoured to be interested in signing the player. The Fiorentina striker is contracted to Fiorentina in Serie A but is currently on-loan at Norwich City in the Championship, having already had spells at Derby County and Treviso. Lupoli left the Gunners on a free in 2007 despite impressing in several Carling Cup outings and was even the club’s reserve team top scorer in 2005, bagging 27 goals in 32 appearances. Partnered by Nicklas Bendtner for much of his time at Arsenal’s academy, the two formed a classic little and large partnership. Quick with the ball at his feet and intelligent in his movement Lupoli was widely tipped to make a name for himself at the top of the game. Prior to his move to the Viola, Internazionale and AC Milan both made enquiries as to the player’s availability. According to Tuttosport, it would appear that Torino now lead the chase for the Italian under-21 international but given the player’s itinerant career he could well end up back in England on a long-term contract. http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/11466/Ex-Arsenal_youngster_courting_interest_around_Europe.aspx
  7. And Hockaday may get another interview as Swindon look to "re-start the process, following a frustrating week of trying to finalise an appointment". http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10341~1494054,00.html

  15. Saint Bri is correct, Hockaday in the last 2. Swindon hope to name Southampton academy director Dave Hockaday or his Newcastle counterpart Richard Money as manager, BBC Radio Swindon understands. Reports have suggested former Walsall boss Money has already left his post at St James' Park. Dave Byrne has been in caretaker charge of the Robins since the departure of Maurice Malpas on 14 November. Town have refused to comment on these claims but hope to name the new boss in time for Saturday's game with Yeovil. The club said earlier on Thursday they are confident they have got the right man, but admit he may not have the 'wow' factor of some of the people they have talked to. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/swindon_town/7785320.stm

  19. I agree with this thread, however as it is such an important thread, I believe it should be in the Muppet Show for 3 days so more people see it and vote.

A breathless end to a brutally open match that ultimately sees United into Sunday's Club World Cup final against Liga de Quito of Ecuador. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/7789312.stm
