  1. The Dubai Marina is an entirely man made development that will contain over 200 highrise buildings when finished. It will be home to some of the tallest residential structures in the world. The completed first phase of the project is shown. Most of the other high rise buildings will be finished by 2009-2010. The Dubai Mall will be the largest shopping mall in the world with over 9 million square feet of shopping and around 1000 stores. It will be completed in 2008. Ski Dubai, which is already open, is the largest indoor skiing facility in the world. This is a rendered image of another future indoor skiing facility that is being planned. Some of the tallest buildings in the world, such as Ocean Heights and The Princess Tower, which will be the largest residential building in the world at over a 100 stories, will line the Dubai Marina. The UAE Spaceport would be the first spaceport in the world if construction ever gets under way. I’m not joking… Some other other crazy sh*t… * The Dubai Metro system, once completed, will become the largest fully automated rail system in the world. * The Dubai World Central International Airport will become the largest airport in size when it is completed. It will also eventually become the busiest airport in the world, based on passenger volume. * There are more construction workers in Dubai than there are actual citizens.

Three of these Palms will be made with the last one being the largest of them all. 7. The Muratti is an annual men's football competition, inaugurated in 1905, between the Channel Islands of Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney, the prize for winning being a trophy called the Muratti Vase. Both Matthew Le Tissier and Graeme Le Saux played in the Muratti for Guernsey and Jersey respectively. Since its inception, the match has been held in both islands on alternate years, interrupted only between 1915-1919 and 1940-1946 due to the First and Second World Wars. The teams wear their island colours of green and white (Guernsey) and red and white (Jersey) and blue and white (Alderney). The competition, which has been sponsored by Cimandis since 2006, now includes Ladies' and Junior trophies. Jersey has won the competition 48 times, Guernsey 42 times, and Alderney once (in 1920). Jersey won the 2006 Muratti 3-2, the third and winning goal scored by Peter Vincenti Jnr (the son of Jersey's current manager). Jersey Police were called to a series of incidents as violence erupted between rival supporters after the 2006 final. The 2007 Muratti Vase Semi-Final took place between Alderney and Guernsey on Saturday 17 March (result: Guernsey 5 - Alderney 0), the winners playing Jersey at the Footes Lane Stadium on Sunday 6 May. The result of the 2007 final was Guernsey 0 - 0 Jersey (Jersey won 7-6 on penalties). The 2007 Ladies Muratti between Guernsey and Jersey took place at the Footes Lane Stadium on Monday 7 May. The result was Guernsey Ladies 1 - 3 Jersey Ladies (all goals scored in extra time).

  11. "I have heard about Arsenal’s interest in the press, and that is very exciting to be honest," Schneiderlin told setantasports.com. “But my agent is currently on holiday so I have not had the chance to speak with him, but I will when he returns. I am waiting to know what is going to happen. “Moving there? Yes, No, We will see if something is made to happen. “To be honest I feel good at Southampton, as I learnt a lot in 10 games. I am aware I must improve in some areas of my game, and Arsenal may be the best place to do it, but I can develop as a player at Southampton. “Seeing my name and Arsenal’s in the same phrase makes me happy, as their football is what I like watching. They are one of the clubs that a footballer cannot refuse to join.” Schneiderlin watched Arsenal’s entertaining 2-1 win over Manchester United and reckons it was a great show. “This was a crazy game, as the clashes between them are always magnificent," he enthused. "It was superb, a show, and Arsenal keep the same values. “When I see that I tell myself I must improve my football to reach the top level.” The youngster is happy with his move to Southampton and is settling well in England. “Daily life is great, I am adapting well, my English is better day-by-day and I have made friends,” he said. “I am very happy, this is a different culture and English football is special. “I do not know if I will remain in England during my entire career, because footballers are meant to move, but why not, as The Premier League is the best championship.” http://sport.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Football/2008/11/10/Prem-Schneiderlin-exclusive-on-Arsenal/
