Hopefully a full week to prepare will help us massively. If we can defend as well as we did against Liverpool, we have a chance. Got to believe.

Even so, it's 1-1, there's plenty of time for us to get back into it. But they put pressure on us at the start of the second half (and we should have expected it) and we crumbled. Can't blame the officials for not being able to pass.

I blame the players

Abysmal second half. Blame the officials, I don't, I blame our players. Sloppy in midfield, terrible defensively, and those final five minutes were a disgrace, every other team puts pressure on, we faff about with it. Not good enough, as good as we were for some parts, there are still major issues with our game and Ralph needs to fix them, quickly.

Biggest game in their history was against us last summer and they totally bottled it. I know they want revenge for sending them down but it just isn't going to happen.

Got to get Minamino and Adams in from the start. Redmond and Djenepo I'm afraid not cut out for it. Djenepo in particular, I really want him to come good but it's just not gonna happen.

Or the various Middle eastern owners our fishy friends to the east had...

Really want to win this, FA Cup our best (and indeed only) chance of getting Europe next season.

Really really poor all round. First half a complete disaster for individual mistakes, they pressed us really well and forced them but regardless, shocking from us. Second half, they're done to 9 men, bad conditions, JUST GET THE BALL IN THE BOX. Simply not good enough.

I wouldn't play Vestergaard for this one if he's not 100%. Wolves game on Thursday far more important IMO. Regardless, I think we'll get a reaction and I think we'll win pretty easily, they're not a good team at all.

I did hear that Mike Dean is fairly close to retiring...

I'm not sure it's possible for me to be less optimistic. Just hope for a decent performance and if we lose, we lose. Just need people back asap.

I thought we played well, and with a penalty and red card it totally changes the game. I don't think there's anything dodgy, just the officials are dreadful. Really, really dreadful.

I don't think Villa are that good tbh, they're just much improved from last season. Before nearly throwing it away, at 4-0 up we were all over them. Think we'll win this fairly comfortably.

Poor performance but we have such a bad injury crisis at the moment. Redmond back is a positive, even if he largely did nothing. Need people back quickly. I don't get why Vokins went off, I thought he was doing alright.

Cedric isn't a terrible player by any stretch, but a club like Arsenal should be aiming for so much better

Vokins is a good player, he'll be fine. Valery concerns me, he can't defend. Luckily, Cedric can't cross a ball.

Yeah, got to be Vokins. I'm sure if Djenepo or Redmond were fit, Ralph might go full Pep and put one of them at LWB... Hopefully same performance and same result, whatever the team.
