  1. Real Madrid or Bayern Munich will be a different kettle of fish entirely. Let's not forget Klopp's record in finals, it's not great.
  2. Who is this "perfect management team" exactly? Reed and Krueger?? Christ alive.

I was sitting right next to the Chelsea fans and they did not outsing us at all. Even when we were losing we were the ones doing all the singing.
  4. Anthony Taylor is the referee
  5. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11698/11339352/richard-garlick-to-leave-west-brom-to-become-premier-league-director-of-football Bad news for Les Reed... the Premier League have chosen West Brom's director of football instead for their new role.
  6. The best way we can market ourselves in China (and indeed, anywhere around the world) is by playing in the Premier League. Therefore, if that is Gao's primary motivation, then hopefully no expense will be spared in ensuring we achieve promotion at the earliest opportunity.
  7. He'll go to Leicester to replace Mahrez.
  8. If Les Reed were to leave, do you think Ronald Koeman would ever return? I'd have him back, in terms of our league positions, he is our greatest ever manager in the Premier League era. Only blip was our cup performances.
  9. Garbage. We were easily the best teams in both those leagues, he wasn't here for the whole season in League 1 and Reading got lucky.
  10. On a related note - what has happened to Romeu?? He was immense for us last season, easily our best player. Now he gives the ball away too often, doesn't tackle as well as he used to, it's remarkable how worse he is.
  11. PLEASE can one of the mods change the thread title, wtf is 'Boscome' ?????
  12. Everton look crap. No reason why we can't beat them.
  13. I thought Hoedt was excellent against Leicester. He hasn't been consistent enough and there are areas where he can improve. I'd be surprised if the club sold him in the summer even if we were to go down. The club won't want to make a loss on him and I don't see many willing to pay seven figures for him.
  14. We were in the relegation zone when he joined us. Had he been with us from the start of the season, we would have won League 1 easily. Sadly we were already too far behind Brighton to catch them up.
  15. I don't think Hoedt is as bad as people make out. Not as good as Fonte and VVD obviously.
  16. Hull are scoring for fun, although defensively they are a bit suspect. At least we'd stop playing for 0-0 draws! Feel like Redmond and Sims would flourish under an attacking manager like him. The fans need a lift and a bit of positivity, so yes I would take him back. I'd be happy with Hughes too though.
  17. I'd go Bednarek and Hoedt for this one. Stephens definitely should not come back into the team, Bednarek has shown he is better than him.

Chelsea fans are an odd bunch. The loudest they were was when they chanted "Stand up if you hate Tottenham"
  19. The question for me is, will any of these changes behind the scenes happen if we stay up? If relegation is what it takes for the club to get its house in order behind the scenes, then so be it.
  20. "Assuming" - well that's the problem. You can't assume in this league. Anyhow, we need to focus on ourselves. Let's get the wins we need and not focus on trying to work out which teams we want to win.
  21. Cowardly. He would earn my respect if he fronted up and apologised for this season. He will never do that.
  22. I would absolutely love it if the Big 6 ****ed off and formed a European super league.
  23. Agreed, a mod needs to change the thread title. Not to mention that Boscombe is spelt incorrectly anyway, embarrassing on two counts.
  24. We have to win, we have to attack, please no nervy passing backwards, get at them, go 1-0 up early doors and keep going, I want a comfortable win. They're really not that good a side. They'll come here and park the bus because they know that they avoid defeat and they'll be safe virtually.
  25. You can't ignore the good stuff. We had done well in terms of our recruitment up until 2016. After then, it all went a bit tits up - whether the club got complacent, arrogant, who knows. He HAD done a good job. But the last two years' recruitment has been shocking, and in particular this season, for that reason he should leave. One poor year, fine you can forgive it but the same mistakes have been made and it's embarrassing.
