  1. I would laugh so hard if we ended up finishing above them.
  2. They should really, they're in a decent position to certainly aim for the top two. Won't be easy though, League 1 is always competitive. They've done well to be in with a sniff of the playoffs. A couple of decent signings and they'll be up there. Whether they can push on for the Premier League after is a different matter, not sure they have the infrastructure off the field to compete at the higher levels, they have a lot of catching up to do in that regard. Let's see how patient Eisner is willing to be.
  3. Surely it'd be better for Lewis to go out on loan again rather than sit on our bench. Maybe we've decided Lewis isn't ready just yet. Keepers are always a tricky one because it can take a while for them to fully reach their potential, as Kelvin Davis proved with us.
  4. Full marks for optimism. As we have regularly been reminding our neighbours to the east, it’s the hope that kills you.
  5. Maybe he’s Stuart Taylor’s replacement
  6. We dealt with Chelsea really well in the first half, the defensive side of our game was excellent. We just have to keep it up for 90 minutes. Hughes has got us scoring at least but the defence really needs to keep a clean sheet and give them a bit of confidence.
  7. 7,803 is the current total of tickets still available. I'd say we sold about 500 tickets today.
  8. Come on you Spurs
  9. Long would rip the Championship apart. Him and Austin up top together would be devastating. Add Gallagher to the mix and we'd have decent striking options. Who knows, maybe even Carrillo could do a job.
  10. Easier I said, not easy. I don't think you could class any of our games as 'easy'. West Ham equalise.
  11. I guess the mindset is that those fans are fed up of seeing the team lose, and don't want to fork out to see us lose (probably) again. Personally, I would be royally ****ed off with myself if we won and I wasn't there, knowing full well I could have attended. And I won't regret being there if we do lose.
  12. Stoke have Burnley, Liverpool, Palace and Swansea to come I'd say we probably have the easier set of games, plus Stoke have played one more than us.
  13. Realistically, we need 10 points from our next four matches. Can't see it happening.
  14. If we win on Thursday, there will be a late surge. I reckon there will be a surge anyway.
  15. Yeh, I think eric said they're the tickets the club couldn't give away! I hope with 8,000 odd tickets that they let season ticket holders purchase more should they want to. Although that then risks ticket touts getting hold of them, so perhaps they won't.
  16. Since I posted that, I've just noticed they've put a whole load more lower tier tickets on sale in Block 141, and there are also some in Block 131 now available which weren't there this afternoon.
  17. Just done a count of all the remaining tickets according to the website. Broken down by block: 142 58 143 2 528 2 529 446 530 674 531 469 532 335 533 311 534 441 535 391 536 324 537 0 538 170 539 0 540 0 541 86 542 162 543 340 544 380 545 368 546 430 547 435 548 495 549 603 550 527 551 307 552 89 That's a total of 7,845
  18. Two wrongs don't make a right. Just because Les Reed isn't popular down here, doesn't mean we will forget or forgive the antics of certain players.
  19. We finished 8th, 7th, 6th and 8th after he left. He won't solve our problems. A 1 star rating for this thread is generous.
  20. We need Ward-Prowse for the set pieces. We've scored a lot of crucial goals this season from them. It's a shame we can't do what they do in the NFL and just bring on specialist kickers but he's not as bad as people make out.
  21. Ross Wilson has to leave at the end of the season. If he doesn't resign then he should be sacked. He has failed in his job, it's quite simple.
  22. Micah Hall on twitter claiming we have 25,000 unsold tickets for Wembley!! They just can’t help themselves and create another Portsmyth
  23. It has to be six points in the next two games. It’s doable for sure, but it really is now or never. If Mark Hughes can motivate the players after this latest setback then fair play to him.
  24. The Championship, you could argue, will have a lot more bigger teams in it than some of the fodder in the Premier League. Burnley, Watford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Swansea, are they really bigger than us, Stoke, West Brom, Aston Villa, Leeds, Derby, Nottm Forest...?
