  1. Rangers were only founded in 2012 as well.
  2. Someone mentioned on POL that one possible motivation for this sponsorship deal is that the university is interested in purchasing the Roko training ground...
  3. Of course, it all went tits up after that when Rupert Lowe made his return.
  4. Good news, but Arsenal's away record is shocking. Huddersfield are really poor though, so Arsenal should beat them really. Anyhow, let's hope we get the wins required to not have to worry about that.
  5. I think Mr Gao's silence is more to do with the fact that he can't (yet) speak English, although he is learning so someone posted on here a little while ago. Anyway, did Markus Liebherr ever make any public comments? I seem to recall Nicola being the spokesperson really, so it's not that important if Gao doesn't say anything.
  6. The EU didn't care either way. Brexit really isn't a major issue for Brussels, they have bigger fish to fry and bigger trade deals to negotiate. Seriously, it barely gets mentioned in any of the European media, they really don't care.
  7. Good news
  8. Ah yes you're right, forgot about the cup match in the Championship. I just remember the starting line up for that first game back in the Prem.
  9. We've got to cheer on our red and white brethren in Madrid. They took their kits from Bilbao, who took them from us, right?
  10. Considering how bad we've been this season, Everton fans should be embarrassed that they were thrashed by a Pellegrino team. You will not find a more deluded fan base in the Premier League, perhaps with the exception of Stoke fans.
  11. It's in spite of Sam, it's more to do with their rather deep pockets.
  12. That's that then, confirmed we are staying up!
  13. They really are getting desperate now. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel
  14. James Ward-Prowse probably. Steven Davis made his debut at the same time but as he's 33, I doubt he'll be playing for us still at 36.
  15. Saudi Arabia is closer to Japan than England is. Still far away, yes.
  16. As I said in the other thread, it's a decent career move really. Will play regularly, chance of playing in the Asian Champions League, and it's closer to Japan
  17. Net spend champions
  18. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not Yoshida Still, playing in the Asian Champions League will probably benefit him and it's closer to Japan
  19. That's another parallel though, we kept on to Wigley for far too long.
  20. Here's something for The9 to mull over - Everton are wearing their brand new home shirt
  21. Leeds were bigger at the time they got relegated. They were in a Champions League semi-final, Everton have got nowhere near that.
  22. We haven't lost 4-1 to anyone yet, but we are visiting Everton on Saturday, a decrepit old ground with fans who bang on about history as if its relevant, so maybe that is where the parallels will lie!!
  23. When I went to an MLS game, all they had for a program was effectively a leaflet, and it was free.
  24. You're also on the OS official highlights too, presumably the same footage from MOTD. I'm glad you know that many of us appreciate the stuff you put up. Are you going to be doing anything in terms of blogging and vlogging for the World Cup?
  25. Some interesting analysis by Gary Neville now on MNF. Says how changing the shape to three in the back has helped us get the best out of Tadic.
