Klopp's a nasty piece of work. Such a sore loser, worse than Mourinho. Gets a free ride by the media too.

I'm sure the Vicenza fanbase will be thrilled to be effectively our feeder club

Pompey Online in meltdown mode, seems like two of their best players in Clarke and Pitman are being linked with bigger clubs (Reading and Rangers). Only rumours, but if those were to happen then the skates' anger would be directed at the Eisners. Would also suggest that there isn't much money to spend for them...

I couldn't care less about any other English team other than Saints. I do hate the scousers though and watching Klopp fail in (another) cup final will be very satisfying to watch. No trophies since 2013... Hala Madrid!!!

Someone on Twitter who is claiming to know says Hughes is on holiday this week, official announcement will be next week.

White and yellow are two light colours. OK, we don't need a third kit, Watford wore their yellow kit at Spurs. I don't know, I'm making it up as I'm going along.

I'm not remotely worried by the time it's taking. These things often take a little time to work out. For comparison of previous managers we've hired in the summer, Koeman was announced in mid-June and Puel/Pellegrino both towards the end of June.

I would say Melbourne is probably more helpful for commercial things like increasing Man City's support in Australia, selling shirts, that sort of thing. Australia not really known for being a hotbed of footballing talent. Same with New York City, but there are more footballing links there, and the MLS is of a higher quality. Man City bought Jack Harrison from NYCFC recently, he had been doing very well in the MLS.

Thanks. I did have something in the back of my mind that I saw something from here but couldn't remember if I was inventing it. Yellow would make sense. A third kit would therefore be needed at teams like Tottenham or (possibly) Fulham.

The News website is AWFUL, I kept trying to see the comments and it just kept loading more articles to read, over and over again (although this one came up which is fairly amusing... https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/anger-as-caravan-encampment-mars-portsmouth-beauty-spot-1-8507868 ) Anyway, I did make it to the comments section, and surprise surprise, the deludedest are out in force Hahahhaaa I have no words for how deluded this comment is. Sums up everything wrong with them. Lol not asking for much, Portsmouth is of course well known for having loads of greenfield and brownfield sites available... There we go again, desperate for an unnecessary bigger stadium Yeh... Don't worry, I don't think that will ever be a problem for them...

FFS. They just can't help it with the nauseating nonsense. I'm sure the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd really consider themselves privileged to be in the company of such elite We need a smiley created for Eisner. I'm sure someone can find something better, that's just one of the first things that came up.

I wonder, therefore, if the home kit follows that same template but with it being white with red stripes, similar to the Championship promotion home kit. Plain white back too I presume, which I personally prefer to the red. I guess we can also rule out the away kit being a dark blue or black, as all our kits would therefore clash with Bournemouth. Maybe it's back to yellow and blue.

I believe newly promoted clubs get a certain period of leeway with stadium issues. I think after a couple of years they have to comply fully with regulations.

I think it was shameful that he refused to speak to the local media when things were getting tough. He was perfectly happy to give interview when things were going well, but obviously didn't want to face up to answering tough questions. Very poor from him.

Go, it's time for a change.

It's all about choice. If people want the opportunity to sit at matches, they should be allowed to sit. If people want to stand, they should be allowed to stand.

No thanks

Ben Gibson would be a good option, there aren't many decent centre backs around, and he was one of the bright sparks in a rather uninspiring Middlesbrough team when they were in the Premier League.

Happy days I'm starting to feel optimistic again as a Saints fan
-
Does that mean we are UA's only English club?
-
I'd keep Long, but I really think he plays better out on the wing. He isn't a goalscorer, but defences hate playing against him.

Went past it on the train this morning, from a distance it certainly looks more distinct and easier to read.

I was referring to the net spend charts.......

Nobody, and certainly not me, has ever said that recruiting players was, or ever has been, easy. One failed transfer window, fine, mistakes happen. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't just one transfer window, it's over the last couple of years, and clearly something in the process has gone wrong. Therefore, the people responsable should be held accountable. Get it wrong this summer and we won't be so lucky in avoiding relegation.
