The average is 70k - given the size of the club, we were probably paying much more than the average. However, in League 2, a huge massive club who wear blue are probably paying over the odds for their players but are bang average. Lol.

The players do major and extensive physical tests in pre-season, and we have an excellent sports science team who know more about the player's fitness levels than probably the players do themselves. Puel clearly has more information available to him than we do and so if he says that Romeu and VVD can play more games, then they are obviously fitter than the rest of the squad.

There are many criticisms to be had of Redmond but his work rate is incredibly high and he never gives up on the field. If he works that hard on the training ground on improving his ability then he'll be a top player for us.

He's not consistent enough for a top club. Hence why he's with us.

There's a big difference when none of the other teams have to rotate too... Eddie Howe openly admitted that a big factor in us beating them was that our team was fresher and theirs was tired. Both had played in midweek, we rotated the team, they did not.
