He refereed our 1-0 win at Sunderland, so we know he's not afraid to give penalties to the away side. Could come in handy, considering the home opposition.
A quick look on POL and there is this absolute gem from our old friend Corporate Ho. He has conveniently forgotten the result the last time the two U18 teams met...
The skates on POL seem to think we're in for one of their players, Conor Chaplin. Needless to say they're not very happy.
Unfortunately, the rumour seems to have been spread by one of those twitter ITK accounts.
Credit to Wanyama, who had a good game.
Looking forward to seeing how a confident Saints team go up away to Man Utd and Arsenal, places where we won last season.
Hopefully JWP follows this up with more consistent performances. I think his set piece delivery has not had the goals that such a quality deserves so well done to him.
We got lucky with the penalty though, had that been awarded against us I would be absolutely furious. Seeing as we have had our fair share of awful refereeing decisions though I'm not complaining this time around
Brilliant performance. Cedric and Targett down the wings were superb, midfield excellent. Happy days, let's hope the blip is over and we can get back-to-back victories.

Ok - #saintsfc keeping 5-3-2 with Bertrand replacing Yoshida
FFS. It didn't work on Saturday so no idea why it is being persisted with. If we lose then I might start to join the #KoemanOut brigade
As glad as I am to hear that we are splashing the cash, we don't need a midfielder (yet!), the area we desperately need to strengthen in is in the forwards department.
How on earth is two promotions in two seasons mediocre? Not to mention that we haven't seen the sort of attacking football his teams produced since he left.
