  1. Wasn't Domenech the coach in South Africa when France had a massive meltdown and went on strike?
  2. Unnecessary attempt to bash MLG, I thought it was an interesting statistic. Let's be proud of our excellent defensive record and overall superb season instead of pointlessly having a go at one another.
  3. David James. Hilarious stuff watching at home
  4. From POL Here's who Banker AKA Corp Ho wants Meanwhile, seems like the blue few want to give us some lessons about finances...
  5. He wrote this beauty back in July http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28593032
  6. Can't believe how many people would drop Pellè. Had it not been for a stunning stop by Howard, he would have scored and everyone would be raving about him. As it so happens, in my opinion he had a decent first half and was a bit isolated in the second against Everton. Despite the fact that most posters don't rate him on here, he's good enough to start for Italy (let's not forget he did actually score too!). We will win this game easily.
  7. 6/10 WUM effort. I honestly can't believe someone would be that deluded to actually have that opinion.
  8. http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barcelona-quiere-fichar-altura-4059709 Article is in Spanish, but the jist of the article is that Barcelona want to sign a tall striker, and Pelle is mentioned as one of the options Barcelona are looking at. If they do sign a tall striker than Dzeko or Llorente seem the most likely options but in the event they DO bid for Pelle, how much is he worth?
  9. That'll be the same Rooney, Welbeck and Sterling who scored 3 of our 4 goals Moronic post.
  10. That's because they were all already at Fratton Park. In fact, the fortress was packed 3 hours before kick off and the remaining 200,000 were locked out of the ground.
  11. If we beat Burnley mathmatically it would guarantee our survival. We would be on 53 points and the maximum Burnley could get would be 49 points. We already can't finish any lower than 18th, which is where Burnley at the moment. If Leicester and QPR somehow were to win all of their remaining games, it would take them to 49 points, so even if we lost all of our remaning matches, they couldn't overhaul us. In fact, I think even a point would be enough to ensure that mathmatically we couldn't go down. Everyone from Liverpool and above are already safe.
  12. We would if we were drawn at, let's say Fratton Park I wouldn't mind giving the skates a good tonking with our reserves
  13. Alex Goring Crook ‏@alex_crook 33m33 minutes ago #pompey are 2-0 down after a calamitous OG. Joe Devera tried to clear a cross and hit the ball of the back of goalkeeper Paul Jones
  14. It'll be interesting/amusing to see just how tinpot they would sink to if by some miracle they did reach the play-offs
  15. Maybe it's no so unrealistic... Beginning to wish they had sacked Awford
  16. There was quite a bit of aggro when the played Sunderland if I recall, hence the high number. Most of them probably stemmed from that one game
  17. I hope so, I've been following their progress in the MLS ever since I met a guy from Portland, who in turn is now a supporter of Southampton
  18. On this day 3 years ago... Time flies when you're having fun. In PTS terms it's from page 1085
  19. As a former manager of ours said, we need to control the controllables. As long as we win tomorrow, we're in a strong position.

Burnley's run in is horrific
  21. Love seeing little Sammy Lee jumping up and down for delight, as well as the rest of the bench
