^^ England did get a spot 2 seasons ago though... If only! Chelsea have about 3 or 4 players sitting in the wings at the club that would be a dream to come to us! Lukaku, Cortouis, De Bruyne, Piazón or maybe even a punt on McEachran could be really interesting additions to the team one way or another (though not enough LB's worth picking up)

I'd have Courtois in a heart beat (probably Cech too really) Loan to buy would be nice or just pay a mad amount of money upfront just once if we can't sign up Boric next year. Not well, on a lot of cash and making a lot of mistakes. Some of it is down to the abomination of a defence in front of him and some of it is down to him being really in his comfort zone with limited pressure on his performances...

Your son is very insightful, on reflection of the last few years I agree we have been in the Adkins bubble though I don't think it's quite a one trick pony as it is a very good method of mentally coaching everyone at the club. But yeah we were all sold on Adkins and its almost a good thing he was taken out of it before it either fell apart or became too much of the character of the club and we couldn't question it/push further on. So Pochetinno will be my answer for now as I am sold completely on the playing style, a noticeable improvement on the good work done by Adkins.
