  1. Probably our most "sellable" goalkeeper. I wouldn't want to sell him now, as I think there is still some potential there. His best game for us was probably his debut against Chelsea and last season I feel that he was a victim of playing in a very poor, close to dire Southampton team as well as playing behind a horrendous back line. However, you can't say that McCarthy doesn't deserve the number one spot either and if Gunn needs to go in order to generate funds for other positions and due to not being able to sell Frankenstein then Gunn may have to go. We do however need to make a profit on him and we signed him for £13.5m from City...
  2. Boruc is one of those who has a, lets say questionable personality, but has gotten away with it through his career as he's a good player. I think Koeman demanded professionalism from all, which was shown when Wanyama and Mane used to step out of line (e.g. the Liverpool comeback match). There was also a clear breakdown in Koeman's and Boruc's relationship, as you could see from Boruc's cryptic Instagram posts at the time of being dropped and then his less subtle criticism of Koeman when he left for Everton.
  3. This is just for a Fifa Ultimate Team, Player of the Year card, isn't it?
  4. Wilson is crap, according to Bournemouth fans, but if we can get £17m for a player named Che Edams I'd be happy with that.
  5. We're getting £8m for Harrison Reed, an extra £4m for KWP is good business.
  6. They need to get a solid pair of hands in charge like Houghton, or they're heading down to League One. Look how Stoke, Huddersfield and Sunderland have struggled in recent years following relegation.
  7. You don't switch agents to Jorge Mendes just before leaving if you want to stay.
  8. More social distancing.
  9. Depends if he could handle the extended fixture list.
  10. Benrahama is like a Boufal, but with an end product. He'd be a good replacement, although Brentford will probably look for £25m as he's their best individual player.
  11. Has that Christoph Klarer not developed as hoped? Just turned 20 last month and I always thought there was talk of him coming through as a centre-back. I know he's been on loan back in Austria this season.
  12. Surprised that we aren't in the top 10 for distance covered as a team, but I guess we deploy the high press and win it up the pitch.

    Adam Lallana

I can't believe I thought Kenwyne Jones went on strike for all this time. This is enlightening.

    Adam Lallana

It will be interesting to see what kind of player he is now, as it feels like I haven't seen him play consistently for years, which it has been. Glad we swerved it though, which seems to be the common consensus on here. He's just a bit of a cunt, Mark Clattenburg called him out on it before he left, picking fights with Tottenham Under-23s players and that quite frankly horrendous blonde streak he was sporting earlier in the year. The bloke's 32.
  15. To be fair, he did spend £30m on Moussa Sissoko on transfer deadline day four years ago.
  16. He also has Southampton Football Club captain in his bio, that needs updating.
  17. Sims has made some good impacts from the bench (Spurs in the league and Liverpool in the cup), but he was given a chance to start in the team last season and I believe he was subbed off at half time after struggling. He's 23 now, time to move on.
  18. Everton fans still claiming they're going to get Champions League football, been hearing this since Koeman left us for them.
  19. More than Van Dijk. Hopefully other teams do take his injury record into account and steer clear.
  20. Always funny when a song comes back to bite a set of fans on the arse. "Who the fuck is the south coast's now"
  21. https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/mins_played Joint fourth in the list, eight outfield players joint, or ahead.
  22. Can't be any worse than our other "...gaard".
  23. Adams definitely needs to work on his movement and anticipating the ball coming across the goalmouth, seen him fail to make contact with a few of those now, but hopefully can be worked on through experience.
  24. This is essentially the West Ham match from last season with a load of squaddies playing, and once again, they aren't good enough.
  25. There’s usually about two good weeks of a transfer window and the majority of it is dead time. A month, like January would’ve been fine.
