  1. Harrison Reed could be considered for next season too in the middle.
  2. Norwich really did use all their energy in the first 10 minutes, weird.
  3. Norwich seemingly used all their energy in the first 10 minutes. Obafemi, sadly doesn't look up to it again. Hopefully Adams can take a chance in the second half.
  4. It was Koeman that signed Mane, wasn't it?
  5. "Dream move" This is upstaging Robbie Keane.
  6. Don’t we all.
  7. Lambert was Godly in that sense also considering the extra games in the FL. Just checked his appearance stats by season here: 2009-10 - 46 league matches (one for Bristol Rovers) 59 matches in total. 2010-11 - 45 league matches (missed the opener against Plymouth iirc) 52 matches in total. 2011-12 - 42 league matches (missed three because of that c*nt El-Abd) 48 matches in total. 2012-13 - 38 league matches - 38 matches in total. 2013-14 - 37 league matches - 39 matches in total.
  8. Also swapped agents to Jorge Mendes a year before moving to West Ham. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-defender-jose-fonte-sparks-6178842
  9. Oxlade-Chamberlain was playing for Arsenal in the Premier League at the same age.
  10. I remember reading a stat that only Leicester won more points than us in the second half of the 2015-16 season. 12 wins from 19, including the 3-2 comeback win over Liverpool, a 4-2 win against Man City and a 2-1 away win at Tottenham. We could match anyone in the league, finished three points off the Champions League, eight points off second, but were of course overshadowed by Leicester's heroics. Then it all went downhill.
  11. They're hosting street parties in Portsmouth (Cosham) where social distancing doesn't appear to be a thing. Those guys...
  12. I agree with Lighthouse. It's why I don't count the 2008 FA Cup when the semi-final teams were Championship West Brom, Barnsley, Cardiff and some Premier League club I can't remember. Voided the competition.
  13. Hopefully they don't have the same impact as Swansea, Sunderland, or Aston Villa's former American-based owners.
  14. Shane Long in the 6-1 win against Villa. Set up two of Mane's goals, scored two, including the best goal of the day. He'll never hit a better ball.
  15. Standard footballer interview really.
  16. Graziano Pelle was another one who became a sub-standard player during the winter months and then a scoring revelation in the summer.
  17. Maarten Stekelenburg, 2010 World Cup runner-up, former Ajax player of the year on two occasions, £11m total career cost by Roma and Fulham... Made us hope for the return of Fraser Forster (Although prior to his big decline) at 33. Fortunately, only on loan.
  18. Coventry play away every week (when the football's on) too.
  19. Leon Best against Derby in the play-offs.
  20. We had a match postponed while in League One against Huddersfield at St Mary's, but it was generally thought that it was for other reasons, as stated we have undersoil heating and had played matches in worse conditions prior. We then beat them 5-0 in March, so worked.
  21. Did a load for the Grenfell Tower survivors as well a few years back.
  22. Martin Caceres
  23. Oh. Ignore that then.
  24. Interesting. It would be good to see a player Ralph sees as key commit to the club given the lack of resources, current speculation over the ownership and seemingly lack of any vision, despite my reservations still of him as a player. But, then we did get spoiled with Schnedierin and Wanyama for a couple of years. On Saturday after the Newcastle match he made a point of pumping the badge numerous times on his walk around to the fans. I know we've seen it from Lallana etc before, but I did find it a bit odd given the news about his agent change and the stories that were circulating regarding his future.
  25. 9-0?
