Looking at Adams' scoring record, prior to last season his highest scoring total in the Championship was 7 goals in 40 appearances. Shane Long once scored 21 goals in 44 appearances in the Championship in 2010-11 with Reading, but has only managed to hit double figures once in the league since then, which was with us in 2015-16 when he scored 10. Hopefully Adams doesn't go down the same path with last season just being an anomaly/purple patch season.

The Palace players got in the refs ear right from the first whistle, similar to United in the League Cup final and you could see after about 20 minutes of it, it had a massive impact on his decision making. He was giving them very weak fouls, etc. Also, funny how Bertrand got booked the other day for taking his time on a throw-in, but nothing was given to Palace players.
