The last two weeks has seen an abundance of finger pointing fingers at Mr Friend and Mr Webb... think what you want about their performances but how much impact does a refereeing decision really have on a game when, quite simply, three games in, we still haven't scored a goal in open play in the league? I am not trying to be a pessimist but we surely cannot continue to point fingers at individuals (Refs, Gaston, Fox, JRod et al) when the team are not scoring goals against top flight opposition.

I understand football (and would henceforth describe it) as 'task based theatre' (despite the somewhat effeminate qualities of the term). For me; Football comes under the same category as going to a theatre to see performance art, listening to music or watching a movie. I would suggest that your original post simply acts to expose your uneducated and uncultured understanding of the relationship between sociological and artistic movements.
