Any chance of him playing in the Island games?

This is a big game for me. I have defended Saints against ridiculously arrogant West Ham (who 1. tell me they should have won the Championship last season, and 2. tell me we will definitely go down. 3. tell me that they have a top 8 team) fans all season. To finish above them now would be beyond perfect. Smash them in this game - icing on the cake.

It definitely did for me, and despite my reservations about singing about NA during the game it worked perfectly on TV. An audible thanks, and then time to march on. I loved NA and for a while I think I was in denial about our play since MoPo, but we do genuinely look like an even better team now. All the best Nige.

The guy who sat near me for the Chelsea game and spent 90 minutes slagging Lambert off is very prominent in that video....

He was busy yesterday but nothing seemed to quite come off for him. He is a luxury player, and yesterday I found his selection a bit odd. Technically he is clearly a very good player (same goes for Guly) but he will always be one who will sometimes play in games that pass him by. He was the right person to be taken off yesterday, but not because he was playing 'badly', because the rest of the front four were playing so well. The only thing I really dislike about him is how often he chooses to have a pot shot from distance when we have patiently got the ball to the edge of the box....

He really was superb yesterday. I put on twitter that the problem with a Rickie Lambert through ball is that you need Rickie Lambert on the end of them....

I think he is a bit 'hit & miss', when he plays well he is very good, but he has had some shockers this season too. Another who looks better under MoPo.....

What was clear yesterday is that if NA wants Reading to play like we did under him, he will need a whole new team. I actually thought NA got it right yesterday, he just didn't have good enough players to execute the plan.

I know a Stevenage fan who went yesterday.... 'Their support is terrible, we outsung them the entire game, I thought they would be up for it' #bestestfansintheworld

They shouldn't be whinging about that anyway. I have it on good authority that they have only sold 1,000 tickets for the benefit game with Herman Hreiderrson's team.....

I would love him to go and get Joan Verdu. Relationship there so a definite possible.

I have the feeling MoPo will bring his own man in from Spain to play the same role. It would not surprise me at all if Gaston went in the summer. You can't bleat about ambition when you can't get in the team....

I have heard a few players weren't as happy as we might have thought under Adkins. I don't think Davis' comments are that appalling, perhaps a little unnecessary, but he may have been one of the unhappy ones. Wasn't the GK coach under Adkins useless?

I would be perfectly happy with either, and that is the truth. But. I am rapidly being sold on MoPo and his style. I think he can take us places with a little investment in the summer.

So (should we stay up) who do we see MoPo heading back to Spain for. With the financial situation of most clubs in Spain, there is likely to be bargains to be had in the summer. Reckon he will be looking to bring his own man in to play in the front support three...
