Considering how good Yoshida is becoming after a reasonably small transfer fee, should Forren turn out to be just as shrewd, it will be very hard to pick a weakness in our best XI? Hooiveld was great yesterday, but I am sure his inability on the ball will seem him phased out for Forren (one he is fit), and Fonte will likely be backup. Lallana said 'the gaffers English is coming on' in the Sky Sports interview yesterday. I think it is clear that he understands English, but as yet is uncomfortable conversing to the media. Very loud. The Wigan fans around us were impressed. Lot's commented on how loud we were.

A mate of mine was in the Wigan stand behind the goal, and kept texting me, saying "can't see you" after the goal he text "Spotted you now. You nutcase."

1. On the whole they reacted pretty well. I was in the first row of exec seats behind the 'normal fans' a bit of name calling, and disgusted looks but it was ok. Obviously got a fair bit our way when they equalised.... 2. I didn't see the smoke bomb at all I'm afraid.

Long shot I know, but me and my mate celebrated like nutters right amongst the home support (couldn't restrain ourselves). Would love to see it on video!

I was very impressed with that second half last night, and it debunks the theory that the players will struggle with the lack of English. They knew exactly what they were doing last night. Substitutions worked well too.
