I've seen a few fans 'upset' at the way MoPo answered the question which I don't really get. What is he supposed to say to it? What does he personally have to thank Adkins for? It was an unprofessional dig from the interviewer as far as I am concerned and felt that MoPo handled it well! p.s. The interpreter's face was a picture.

I am sure 37 will be enough. But I think we will get 40 - 41.

Should we play as well as yesterday then we should massacre them. Their back four is poor, and Pearce (we should know) is static at the back, Lambert and JRod will be all over him. Could be a fair amount of goals in this one. p.s. I think if we win, we are safe. p.p.s. We have to keep the Adkins love-in to a minimum, the current manager and squad need our support. Adkins deserves polite applause before the game (no chanting), then he becomes the enemy.

This season it took some of our players a while to get used to the PL, hence our poor start. Next season, same squad, more experience, Poch in charge, it could be a very different story!

I don't have a ST so first time in that seat, and that is part of the reason it annoys me I guess. I wish I could go every week, but work commitments etc. mean I can't. When I do go, I appreciate it!

I was in the amongst the Wigan fans this season, in the posh seats but the row directly in front of us were normal punters. My mate and I managed to contain ourselves for our equaliser, but lost it when we went in front. They were very good about it. There was a fair amount of 'banter' but not a hint of violence or aggression and a few of them even turned to us and said no more than you deserved. Of course when they then equalised, we had to take a fair amount back, and fair enough. It can be done, it depends how you go about it. I am in the home end at Reading....

A stupid question of course, but hearing some comments in and around me yesterday it made me wonder if people just like to moan. We were beating Chelsea, who are the champions of europe and were 3rd in the Premier League, yet the negativity coming from some of our fans was incredible. In particular there was a guy near me who spent the entire game slagging Lambert off, including shouts of 'Get him off'. The atmosphere was brilliant yesterday, but I sometimes wonder if people prefer to be losing so they can have a good whine and a moan, maybe it is their weekend release or whatever. I also listened to a couple of Saints fans explaining to each other that Wigan and Villa both have far better squads than us, and will likely overtake us soon. Jesus wept. I know being a Saints fan hasn't exactly been easy at times, but I am pretty confident this young side we are developing is going to get better and better. Try and enjoy it!

Not sure if it was true or not, but I was told that during his Hampshire days Shane Warne became quite the Saints fan.... Alos, isn't Aussie Actress/Singer Holly Valance a Saints fan?
