As much as I hate myself for saying this in a thread about a footballer, Puncheon has shown a far more leftie attitude of "What I don't get what I want? That's it. I'm not playing".
Bit more credit to Tranmere required in my opinion....
We played poor, but tactically they had us sussed. Jennings was too much to handle and it sounds like Davis, Harding and most surprisingly Fonte were terrible.
Probably irrelevant, but a few on here have mentioned Le Fondre, interestingly he hasn't scored in five games, and I quote from a Rotherham fan "he's been ****".
Terrible time to lose form for somebody who clearly wants a move!
Danny Wilson confirms after Swindon game yesterday that a bid was received this week for Austin, and a deal could be done by Tuesday.
Eddie Howe refused to comment on a bid for Austin yesterday also.
We have to be realistic and accept that he is destined for the top. Whether it is sooner rather than later, I will take it with a pinch of salt until someone from Saints says it.
Win win for me. Like the Jets and the Steelers. AFC all the way now.
By the way, I think the Saints players should start doing post match interviews like this:-
