I think that both Hammond and Schneiderlin had got a bit complacent, with the lack of competition. Since Chaplow signed, all three have performed much better.

I don't think that is the case at all. I think Puncheon's attitude, not his ability was the reason Adkins shipped him out. As others have now said, this could have been a master stroke. Fair play to Puncheon, who I thought had a good game yesterday. If has come back to knuckle down and work for the squad, and accept that he might not always be first choice, it could be like another new signing.

I don't think anybody disagrees that he is a talented player, but his attitude is certainly questionable. Seeing as he doesn't last anywhere long, and fans of his previous clubs warned us about his attitude when he came here, it makes you wonder if he is capable of being managed correctly. I wouldn't want a situation where the manager is treating one player differently because he sulks if he doesn't get his own way. With regards Puncheon, I believe it to be a massive shame, but I think if we can get a decent return on him, it is time for him to go. The team and results haven't suffered by his absence.

A few Ipswich fans I know, think they have decided to sack him now, because they want to get Howe before he signs for Palace. A bit underhand if true, but as it is Roy Keane, I can laugh about it.
