If he had signed it the club would have made a massive fuss. He's not in his final year, so no rush for Rodriguez, and he has gone about this in the most dignified manner of the lot of them.

Right at the start of the summer there was talk of Boruc going back to Legia Warsaw to finish his career. Be interesting to see if anything comes of it. Boruc as a backup is not a great option. Not that he isn't capable, but that he tends to go off the rails when he isn't playing....

Well I certainly misjudged the severity of that one.... Odd decision, but within the rules.

To be fair with the exception of Simon Peach on occasion, none of the local media get a jump on confirmed transfers before K-Billy/Guan/Monk on here. The media outlets do get it right on occasion, but they get it wrong far more often. Some local journos (and I don't know if this is exclusive to the South Coast) seem to only get it right once it has been spread round twitter by thousands of people already...
