  1. He'd already gone..... Going to be a long summer!
  2. Results are in.... Thanks to those that voted! http://georgeweahscousin.com/2014/05/12/the-winners-of-the-201314-alis-the-results-are-in/
  3. Happy with the official Saints awards this year? Have your say in the unofficial and alternative awards here:- http://georgeweahscousin.com/2014/05/05/201314-gwc-com-end-of-season-awards/ For past winners see here:- http://georgeweahscousin.com/awards-history/
  4. No chance whatsoever of them getting anywhere with current ownership. They might get out of League Two but that will be it.
  5. I can't choose between Chambers and Clyne. Wanyama edges it for me in midfield, our record when he has played can't be ignored.
  6. No expense spared at their 'End of season gala dinner'.... They've even rented a portakabin. https://twitter.com/PompeyNewsNow/status/463040168631730176
  7. Shame they are wasted on that god awful website.....
  8. The guy was clearly on a windup once he saw people had posted his picture. Given me a few chuckles though....
  9. His passing accuracy has been 90% plus in the last three games. He isn't trying silly passes anymore. Playing it simple, doing his job.
  10. The thing that impresses me most about all these kids is there complete level headedness and composure. There is no panic whatsoever. They take to it like a duck to water. Did you see Brad Smith make his début for Liverpool against Chelsea in December? He was a bag of nerves and didn't put a foot right. None of the Saints kids have débuts like that. The work in the Academy on the way they handle themselves as people extremely important I think.
  11. I think it will be a return to stripes which is great. My personal preference would be Rank Xerox though.
  12. Always admired by opposition fans, usually more than our own. Superb again today. Three clean sheets since he came back. No coincidence whatsoever.
  13. Guilty.... Hooiveld and Gazzaniga praise... Enjoy the wait. I think Saints fans, myself included were perhaps quillty of overlooking him in terms of praise until the last few months. Now everyone seems to be on his side, but the point stands in the media etc. He'll never get picked out there. I will endeavour to improve as always! Don't agree on the water carrier reference being lazy, overused? Yes, but it is valid in terms of Davis. His workrate and his ball retention are his greatest strengths.

  15. Apologies. I will endeavour to condescend more in the future!
  16. ...just because I was bored last night. Did I miss anything (except the number of years since the third tier ) http://metro.co.uk/2014/04/29/is-this-just-the-beginning-for-southampton-football-club-4712115/
  17. If the point was to get a reaction, it certainly got it. The Pompey fans are missing the irony of calling us obsessed over it while going on about 4-1.
  18. Made me cringe if I'm honest. If it were for a particular occasion I might have seen the point, but all it has achieved is that we look like ones with a chip on our shoulder...
  19. In many Saints fans eyes, Cork can do no wrong and Wanyama is rubbish. No amount of evidence will change their mind. Thought he was superb today, as close to an immaculate performance for a defensive midfielder as you can get.
  20. Hasn't even spelt 'Rickie' correctly....
  21. ...for anyone interested, I caught up with Egil on twitter and got him to answer 20 quick questions on his time at Saints! http://georgeweahscousin.com/2014/04/05/twenty-questions-egil-ostenstad/
  22. Out of interest did anyone think Cork was playing well today? I thought he was poor to be honest.
