Why don't all the good players we have just stay here and turn us into the 'big club' they want?

City game aside, a familiar story - loads of possession and look comfortable, but no real cutting edge or creativity. Bertrand and Clyne, while both two of our best, don't seem to be getting in behind as often as the early days of the season. Mane looks like he's lost the dressing room, and still don't rate Forster much.

With the exception of the City game, I don't think we've played that badly really - certainly not deserving of four defeats.

Just a few years back I was driving home happy with a late draw at Carlisle, and now Will Hill make us a shorter price than Liverpool for a top 4 finish. Been a great journey, and thoroughly deserved after the years of dross football and late escapes - as entertaining as they were in retrospect.

Wanyama for me. Never really had a player like that that I can remember (started following saints 89-90). Totally dominates the midfield, and his passing has improved massively this season.
