Just got 4 in the Chapel for the kids. Can't be there myself today, but to all of you who are going, have a great day, I hope there will be a really special atmosphere.
-
I can't get there today so I've just ordered a load of stuff from the on-line store. Next I'll have to persuade my family that these items are what they want to give me for my birthday. Good luck to all of you going today.

Nothing wrong with the motivation tonight, I could see one of ours getting sent off, it's just that in the first half there were no options up front and McGoldrick was not up to the lone striker role. Marek didn't play brilliantly when he came on, but he provided options and did a professional job.

If I remember rightly he's a big buddie of Rupert Lowe.

Let's hope not! http://new.pinkun.com/content/ncfc/story.aspx?brand=PINKUNOnline&category=Norwich&tBrand=PinkUnOnline&tCategory=Norwich&itemid=NOED29%20Sep%202008%2017%3A22%3A31%3A277

You're right, I for one would make sure I am there for that.

In the games we played well wasn't it Morgan, Holmes, Gillet and Lallana that were really running the show? Now two of those are injured and one has temporarily lost form. Is that too simplistic?
-
Great news thanks for the update
-
I remember the black and white photos of the game in the Echo being very confusing!

I like it here, plenty to do, nicer town than Southampton probably because it suffered fewer bombs in the war. What's that got to do with football? Oh yes, Norwich fans do seem suprisingly resiliant given what they've had to put up with. However I think we're shaping up better for the future than they are.

Ron Davies from Norwich City for a very modest fee given that he went on to be 1st Division top scorer and "the best centre forward in Europe"
-
Now that would be great! We used to sing that tune at the Dell in the early 1970s- "La,la,la,la La,la,la,la Hey, hey, hey South-hamp-ton" Bananarama covered that song, anyone remember who did it originally?
-
To the tune of The Banana Splits theme song (ask your parents to sing it if you're too young) La La La La Lallana La La La La Lallana (repeat 10 times...) The best ones are the simple ones....

I don't think Saints Hospitality provide quickies as part of the package. Let me know what they say though.

Wins everything in the air, never gives up, composed on the ball, ready to push forward at times, our best player by some distance last season, will be sorely missed.
-
Top post! I agree 100% You have to pity people who get themselves caught in a spiral of negativity, and you're right the news media have a lot to answer for, and you're also right they we can all choose not to wallow in it and to look for the positive.

Pure poetry! Do you mind if I borrow that to use elsewhere?
-
Well done! What are you predicting for this season?

Norwich press still mentioning Rasiak as a possible target for Roeder as he looks for a big(ger) striker to play alongside Cureton or Lupoli.
-
Seems more than fair to me, their league table on the right has us in twelfth place with 1 point !

Killer on the OS "hopefully in a couple of days I'll be back training" Oh dear, let's hope so. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=10420

Thanks Suewhistle, what a great write up from a journo for once spotting the really significant slant to take.

I'm with you mate. This is a group of players that will get better together. And, having watched Brum v Sheff U and Notts For v Reading on Sky, we've definitely got the quality to compete in this division, and with Andrew D. back our defence will be stronger and team spirit boosted further.

Hi Lowestoft Saint, I've been in Norwich for 19 years now and have been to see Norwich a few times every season. However I have mixed feelings about them, I want them to do well enough (or badly enough!) to be in the same division as us, and I want them to have some entertaining players (was Huckerby, may be Hoolahan this season), but I don't "support" them. I like them doing well but not if that's better than we're doing. It's quite pleasant watching games as a neutral and the main excitement is waiting for the Saints score to be announced. I don't have your issue with kids, my two teenage daughters have no interest in football whatsoever!

Thanks for running this again Bob Your hard work in previous seasons is appreciated as well
