Nice one, well done Pancake. Have some other friends who did it in about 4h40ish. My turn next, just not sure when or which one yet!

Some good comments here... http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/apr/06/seven-a-day-fruit-vegetable

I think that was evident in the second half too... we have such a close knit group of players I think it probably did affect us just as much as the second goal, if not more.
-
BT Sport is the new Sky Sports... we used to be sh1t on Sky.

And his mother smells of elderberries.

If you see all my posts today, you'll see that although I am not as sure as you that he was as clearly at fault for the third as you think, I am in no doubt that he's not good enough for us or the PL, make no mistake. My point about this thread was that Glasgow started it, and IMO he was clearly setting bait for what might have been about to occur. If he played well, he could say 'I told you so', and if he didn't (and he didn't) it just stirs things up.

Thing is, in real time, if you see a leg go across the path of a player like that, who then goes down, it is not hard to see it as a foul. I have no complaints about either the decision or about Foy in general today.
-
If we're talking about the difference between 8th (hopefully) and moving into the top 5, then yes, we need to replace him as first choice. He'd still be an excellent squad player.
-
Look who started it and you soon work out how 'relevant or constructive' it is. That said, if he hadn't before the game, someone would've after...
-
Well, that changes everything. All we need now is 2 goals from Hartlepool.
-
Amen to that. My gut feeling is that although it has probably ended his season, it's not as bad as feared... I just got the impression that although it clearly hurt, he didn't seem to be in the agony that we often see when it's a cruciate.

Don't get too hung up on the title... for too long the media and, as a result, fans have got hung up about these roles, but the title is irrelevent, and we won't know the details of what this potential new role will entail until they explain more (if indeed they do). It could be something similar to other roles at other clubs, or it might be completely new take on things. We just don't know, and the title alone certainly won't tell us.

This is something to build on. I know our possession and lack of chances has been criticised, and rightly so at times, but in context, it shows great progress and is absolutely something to be positive about.
-
I'm trying to drag him, unsuspecting, into the realms of serious conversation. Shush, don't give it away.
-
Thing is, we all generally trust MoPo and his team with the squad decisions and if they genuinely thought Cropper was better, he would've played. I hope Cropper has potential to be with us for many years, I've never yet seen him play so cannot comment. I suspect Gazza has similar confidence issues as Bialkowski... both showed potential but are very fragile, and not really up to the test of the Premier League IMO.
-
I'm really not. And I'm certainly no knee-jerker either, but I honestly do believe that most people will agree that if we're serious about out continuous improvement, into the Top 10 of the Premier League, then Gazza is not, sadly, good enough to remain with us.
-
Before you could possibly get away with it, but this so clearly WUM material it's not even funny.
-
I'm pretty sure no one has actually said they think he is good enough for the Prem... some people have confused the fact that some of us don't think he deserves some of the really quite harsh criticism aimed at him. He made mistakes today, no doubt. He also made some good saves. Fonte conceded a terrible penalty, and we also defended poorly at times. All of that deserves some criticism, not just Gazza.
-
I still view this season overall, and this game, as really positive indicators for our future. As we continue to improve the squad slowly, by buying a few key players and promoting others from the Academy, we're making sustainable improvements, not trying to achieve anything too much too soon. Our squad depth is clearly not quite right yet, but just think how much better and more consistent we can be if it continues to improve. There's a lot of potential in this club.
-
As it should be, and I would hope the club was always working towards that aim, but we don't really know what Cortese was aiming for in that regard.
-
Can't believe Glasgow hasn't startes this yet. Excellent performance first half, offside goal really knocked us, and second half we never really looked like getting back into it. Most disappointing thing was JRod's injury IMO.
-
Focus needs to be on how the club can improve us in that position, not on getting to Gazza IMO. He's clearly not good enough, no one will argue with that, but the pressure should be put on the club, not the player.
-
No shame in that performance overall.
-
About time some of this criticism was aimed towards the club for not having a keeper capable of deputising for Boruc really... It shouldn't all be aimed at Gazza.
-
Yeah, no defending him for that goal, that was poor. Glad he just made that other one on one save though, don't want him to get cricified.
