Point is you shouldn't be pigeonholed for having thoughts. Part of problem is that if 'left leaning' you are expected to never criticise Islam. I consider myself very much left leaning yet also I have huge worries about our western tolerant society embracing Islam and it's beliefs. That does not mean I have issues or intolerance toward Muslims or refugees as some are keen to imply.
