There is no correlation to going out of FA Cup early and getting promoted/surviving relegation battles, Winning mentality more than compensates for any player fatigue. I love the FA Cup and depresses me how many of you want to get knocked out.

BBC Football league show dropped for 'budgetary reasons' and does not return til 14 Jan In other news Hansen picks up £40k for every MOTD episode so not as if we are not getting value http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Ex-Liverpool-man-Alan-Hansen-makes-40k-a-week-from-BBC-show-Match-of-the-Day-article824643.html

I was in their stand in 1984. If we'd have celebrated the last minute winner i wouldn't be here today. what sort of bellend would expect a celebration? bet you loved your safe little bubble with your sandwiches and flask
-
i just looked in the sky and clouds were shaped like 'nil-one, Guly 57 mins' shape just off to bookies

What's this?! we have so-called 'fans' on here who dont attend every home game. Surely they dont have a right to an opinion. Ban them!
-
The one positive might be it will stop ***t5 posting threads asking are we the best Saints team in living memory, is NA the greatest manager of all time and other such nonsense. We have only beaten Barnsley(and probably wouldn't now as they are flying), Ipswich and Coventry away from home.
-
Doncaster just after they made the natural leader of men El Hadj Diouf captain
-
plymouth first game of last season - most teams played them after their fire sale

I'm not going and would've if not for compulsory travel with a load of idiots on a coach Fair point! I have anti coach bias as my experience is taht they are full of ***ts but sure 28% are decent sorts
-
We should have boycotted but we are Southampton, we do what we're told. http://www.ultras-tifo.net/news/153-dortmund-fans-boycott-derby.html I'm not going and would've if not for compulsory travel with a load of idiots on a coach - many people saying worth the hassle are probably secretly pleased they have the safety of the coach travel although give it the token moaning. This is what is wrong with the country no ******** to protest juts grateful to the authorities which will be perpetuated cos you all fell in line

NA: I've said all along that we want to be in the race come January - we are leading the race at the moment with nine [sIC] games left to go and we want to make sure that we are still in the top ten come January. C'mon Nige one thing not getting carried away but top 10 aint acceptable from our position. 24 points up for grabs to January (8 games not 9) and we are 14 points clear of 11th spot. So if Peterborough (currently 11th) won 4 and drew 4 of their 8 games (16 pts) which woudl be incredibly good form and we lost 7 of our 8 games and won one they would still not catch us. Admittedly that is start of January.

Not at £1.75m that Boro apparently are willing to pay http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Middlesbrough-move-for-1-75m-Coventry-striker-Lukas-Jutkiewicz-article828858.html

Surely it is about time we built statues of all this best ever squad. Hey we had our first away win in over 2 months the other day. When has a team ever done that? I knew forums had their share of idiots but this is plain embarassing
-
it's not an interesting question and is embarassing. when it is a more resonable question like Pele V Maradona it is just people sitting the merits of each and basically comes down to generations or who watched one impressive game on the telly or who has the 'cooler association. 3 months into a Championship season with very debatable opposition quality is quite comical. First is NA the greatest ever manager after 13 months, now this. what next? Is Danny Fox our greatest ever LB?
-
33/1 for 1-3 looked tempting this morning, now far morseo
-
Cheers and handy for betting patterns
-
why the fck does anyone care what somebody posts? we have enough idiots of our own here and responding to another teams forum makes you look sad. do you expect adulation for saints up and down the country? and we aren't needy we don't need praise. Man up!
-
NA: "We are top of the passing charts, and against Peterborough on Tuesday night we had 505 passes with a 90.1% completion rate, which is really pleasing; teams will Does anyone know if these stats are these published anywhere or is from Pro-zone or similar?
-
I wasn't being arrogant but I would say considering this division that is as easy a run on paper of 10 games that we could hope to get with all the tougher teams at home and only 4 away games, 3 of which include the current bottom 3 in the division.I know we wont win them all but bet bookies have us as favourites for nearly all of them
-
These sort of posts normally annoy me and feel like a Brighton fan but cant help thinking there is no awkward games for the rest of the year. Ok maybe a point at scum would do Tue 1 H Peterborough Sat 5 A Coventry City Sat 19 H Brighton Sat 26 A Bristol City Tue 29 H Hull City December Sat 3 A Doncaster Sat 10 H Blackpool Sun 18 A Portsmouth Mon 26 H Crystal Palace Fri 30 H Bristol City

The Rank Xerox Dell right?
-
do any boys go in the Northam Stand? seems like the singing geek boys that used to be in Milton - when all the real boys were in the Archers and far too cool to sing. part of me would love a decent crew to run at them and see them scatter. Good noise though just full of ***ts
-
our next 3 away games are against the bottom 3 teams , Coventry, Bristol City and Doncaster. And we all know what we are like at home. Wonder how much a tenner on Saints to win at St Mary's rolled to next game would be up to now? £1280 if evens although i know that is too generous

And dont forget the WAGs - Mrs Hammond http://twitter.com/#!/HammondRachel And the next big thing http://twitter.com/#!/j_w_prowse

If people have to ask what is wrong with Talksport then i doubt they would appreciate the answer. Total garbage. The concept fine, the delivery is awful and sensationalist. Chav radio:)
