  1. Playing against better, and stronger opposition at home? (something we rarely faced)
  2. I had a friend who had 2 tickets, but he ended up at the Olympics as a games-maker.
  3. I thought Clyne was probably our best player personally. Why did you pay £20 to see Udinese and expect a proper first team 100% top-notch display huh? You tell us. I got 2 tickets for £12, so I decided to go. Wouldn't pay normal price.
  4. Caught and arrested after an 11 year old girl spotted him.
  5. BBC saying that Police have raided and cordoned off the Grandmother's home. Is it just me who, (and I know this may be bad to some), saw the Grandmother's boyfriend and thought he was in on it in some way? Felt like he was holding something back? Something just didn't seem right. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19206675 http://news.sky.com/story/971039/tia-sharp-latest-police-surround-house
  6. Agree. We need someone soon to bed in. Imagine if, and I can't believe I am going to say this.... Jos got injured on Saturday and we were left with JF and DS. Doesn't bare thinking about.
  7. Forget Pompey's fate being decided on the 10th. Today is the 2nd anniversary of the death of Markus Liebherr. Just 2 years ago. He died as we lingered at the bottom of the League One table. We are now just 9 days away from our first Premier League appearance since 2005. Thank You Markus.
  8. You do. When you whinge about tickets or ticketing issues. They're all cogs in the club however big or small.
  9. Why "zzzzzz" ? He's probably right on some points. Most Agents see the Premier League as a big money spinner and West Ham are paying over 5 times that of Saints.
  10. Grabbed this from my local club's site: http://www.southendunited.co.uk/documents/fl-agents-fees-report-2012-08.08.1252-301535.pdf Saints spent £833,570 on agents fees. West Ham spent the most, over £4m.

  12. Type "Nottingham Forest Billy Sharp" into Google. They made a player profile page for him which now is blank? Weird.
  13. Know those two personally then do you?!
  14. How come you didn't post that until it was confirmed by someone on here that Cortese was on holiday? Hmmmm.
  15. Paul Mitchell - Head of Talent Identification. He is heavily involved in transfers also, and may be the man you are thinking of. Nigel has referred to him in interviews before, and he goes on scouting trips, sometimes accompanying Nigel.
  16. Now that is a stupid comment. Their 'League 1' line-up based on current squad: (my personal preferences for positions) Gilks Bardsley Caldwell Mulgrew Fox Adam Dorrans Morrison Snodgrass Rhodes Phillips And in terms of subs, that would leave you with: McGregor, Marshall, Berra, Hanley, Hutton, Martin, Webster, Bannan, Cowie, Forrest, Mackie, Maloney, Naismith. To say that is a 'League 1' team is really a ridiculous and stupid comment.
  17. And inserted here:
  18. Yeah quick and snappy for me. Easier to use and looks good. An improvement, if not amazing.
  19. Well done, you managed to repeat the article above.
  20. http://blogs.metro.co.uk/sport/the-transfer-market-explained-window-hit-lull/
  21. Regardless of keeping Harding, I'd still get rid of Dickson before Fox. I personally think Fox is an improvement on Harding although I do worry about Fox this season. Let's see how he handles it first though.
  22. Well in which case I apologise.
  23. Well done, a 3 day old article and player that has already been covered in the Rumour Thread.
  24. Guly still too inconsistent? I thought he was consistently good today, and one of our best players.
