  1. Well Done lad.
  2. Wow, such aggression from the usual deniers....
  3. I understand that my "darkest hours of administration" could be viewed as high-melodrama. But lets face it, when you are facing the big question "new owner or liquidation" you have one issue to focus on because rest pales in comparison,.
  4. Usual high quality contribution from you.
  5. The priority for KL, Mopo and Rodgers is 3 more wins to secure PL football next season. Lets face it, after a fantastic first dozen games, this season has descended to farcical cluster-f*ck proportions. Looking forwards, the following issues have to be resolved in pretty short order come May (and this assumes no club sale): CEO Manager New CB Resolve the futures of Shaw, Rickie, and a couple of others Get rid of Ramirez and Osvaldo Identify replacements/reinforcements. I am not sure such uncertainty or chaos has ever reigned at SFC, even in the darkest hour of administration...
  6. Totally disingenuous summary. MLT kept us up for years - check NC got us from the bottom of League 1 to one match away from the very top of the English game (and what would have happened if Lovren had been fit ???) in 4 years Markus made it happen, but we were still in League 1 when he was sadly taken from us.
  7. Another one who should f**k off as soon as the opportunity presents. Just imagine the amount of trouble we would have been in after Lovrens injury if Fonte hadnt been able to play next week; Hooiveld and Yoshida would have played together.
  8. Which one ? The narcissitic tw*t who left his missus for a dyke and lie about forcing his driving points on her until 2 minutes before the trial ? Or the one who like wearing sussies and half throttling himself ?
  9. Dunc, what is banging on about it like a record stuck in a groove going to achieve ? NC is gone - time to move on; in most peoples eyes his contribution to the club was a massive positive on balance, and the details are irrelevant. MLT is just making himself look petty and vindictive.
  10. This. Its unedifying, petty and tedious.
  11. I'm guessing WHU or Liverpool for Dejan, not fussed about the other one; he can take his time.
  12. I'm British, guys. Nothing to do with me. I do wonder if this guy has been in the background for a while already. I still find it strange (whilst thanking my lucky stars) that my beloved team turned up in my adopted home town to play two of the star European teams over the summer.
  13. Maybe, but it would have been nice to have a glimpse of where she wants to go with the club.
  14. Why dont you stop picking arguments, Pilsbury Dough Boy ?
  15. My first reaction was that there is nothing left to say/speculate about/worry about. Great letter that leaves me feeling a lot better about the future of our club. But (sorry, there is always a "but" with me...) it doesnt say a whole lot about the ambitions of the club, its more a "business as usual" status-quo type message. KL hasnt shared a lot of vision and drive with us in this message. For now, it does the job on the label. Lets see what actions follow the words.
  16. I also enjoyed the Dan Snow piece, really challenges some of the long-held perceptions of WW1. Looking at that list, you have to feel sorry for the people of Russia. No wonder they always look so miserable.
  17. Isnt that down to NC and the managers he chose, not KL ?
  18. Jesus I dont know where to start with this.... Why does being stinking rich and having very expensive laywers qualify you to choose a top-performing football club CEO ? As for John Williams, I would have thought he'd be too busy scoring the soundtrack to the next Star Wars movie to be able to run SFC effectively.
  19. U what ? I though he had an axe buried in his cranium or something.
  20. Au contraire, my emotional response probably prevents me from going down that route.
  21. Seriously. Why does that appear to be the case ? Based on what ?
  22. Nope, you may well be justified in your hope. I would describe your opinion as purely optimistic. A really happy clapper is one who tries to spin the worst news or the most turgid of performances, saying things like "these set of stats says we are brilliant" or "remember where we were 5 years ago"
  23. The person we need to replace is Dejan, not Ramirez. We've got by 90% of the season without Ramirez perfectly well so far.
  24. Nope, I made a perfectly good post about the fact that informing the work force that the company is up for sale is not particularly clever or effective in terms of maintaining productivity or efficiency. Which is the truth. So sorry that its brought some of you to the verge of a nervous breakdown..
