As I wrote, I looked at the number of points we had and the remaining fixtures, and couldnt realy genuinely see how the results would conspire to put us down. But a little nagging doubt remained because, after all, we are Saints and never do things easily. Looking at the last few games, I would content that it is the teams around us, the mid-table mediocrity, where we get unstuck. I have this feeling it has always been so though; we used to scare the top teams regularly back in MLTs days then lose to sh*t like Sheff Wed.
