  1. Verbal didnt like it ? Quelle f**king Surprise. Woe betide anything that celebrates Britishness and instills a sense of patriotic pride in the people of our nation eh ? Much better to have hand-wringing and displays of self-flagellation because of guilt in our past....
  2. Really hope club and player work for each other. Thanks for helping us return to the top level, Dan. Best of luck to you.
  3. That smirk is excruciating.
  4. So actually, its all about having a red-and-white striped kit, rather than a decent Yoof programme. Oh... Anyhoo, hopefully it means we will get first bagsy on more of the nations promising young talent.
  5. This bloke Nazi saluting when the Germans came out shocked my entire household into silence. We couldnt believe our eyes. Boris clearly thinks its f**king hillarious. I really enjoyed the opening ceremony. Highlight for me were the Pistorius Punks giving the full treatment to Pretty Vacant, also enjoyed the Arctic Monkeys and some of the video montages were great too. For some bizarre reason Jacques Rogge's speech made my eyes well up a bit.. Stupid question now. How are they going to do the Hammer/Discus/Javelin with a fook-off great torch in the middle of the stadium ??? EDIT: still having trouble accepting that Lizzie co-operated with the James Bond skit.
  6. Yep. If the players involved dont want to celebrate their British identity, they should be dropped for the remaining games.
  7. Indeed. If there is any legs to this story whatsoever, it will take time to sort out. Time the DFCSBs no longer have. 10th August is 2 weeks away. Tick-Tock....
  8. I wanted to laugh too but felt it was inappropriate.
  9. Aint going to happen, mate. The sash was a one-off. But that is one of the attractions of last years away kit; The sponsor logo was pretty understated.
  10. They put their knickers on over their sussies for quick removal ?
  11. People like Crow, Serwotka, McCluskey and all those clueless working-class warrior goons from the 70s like Red Robbo and Scargill, do much, much more damage to the working rights and levels of employment in the UK than any Conservative government does. For a start they MASSIVELY put off any overseas company from investing their significant expansion budgets in the UK. We might still have a manufacturing industry to pull ourselves out of the f**king mess the service (financial) sector has dragged us into if they hadnt turned into f**king megalomaniacs. And a coherent energy policy, because the mines would still be open.
  12. Doesnt Birch see the players as legitimate creditors too ?
  13. Isnt it about time the PFA step in to protect their members from this bullying ?
  14. An excellent summary from that Walsall fan. Its a f**king disgrace that they've been allowed to continue to exist for as long as they have. I'm guessing that if PFC does make it to the starting day of this season in Division 1, we will be back here re-visiting this topic, within 18 months.
  15. But hes right though.
  16. Would like to know if the megastore can print the blue numbers (and names ?) on my kids unprinted away kits from last season.
  17. Pleased that the yellow/blue kit lives on for another season, even if it only gets an occasional airing. That kit grew on me throughout the season, and I now rate it as one of the best we've had in recent times. Nice, bright colours, small understated sponsor logo. Nice. And it shows up the new kits for what they are - tat.
  18. Oh, do p*ss off, pap. The unions revealled their true colours this week when they tried to hold the country to ransom over the Olympics. In particular, the Tube drivers were given a grand to secure their co-operation during the Olympics and the RMT have still ordered a work-to-rule. Bastards. I hope the government make the f*ckers suffer when the Olympics are over - I would instruct London Underground management to fire the f*ckers whenever an opportunity (within the law) presents itself. Bob Crow is a complete c*nt - the power has gone to his head and he really thinks he can bring about administration change with his actions. You only have to look at the statement of his reasoning for this action. Loads of class-war "down-trodden masses" b*ll*cks.
  19. This. The players have been more than reasonable/patient. If they cave in and accept poor compromise agreements, PFC will back shafting another group of helpless employees or suppliers in a years time.
  20. When the squad numbers are announced, those numbers that are not assigned will be as interesting as those numbers that are assigned..
  21. No, not really. Just because some of these players are not proven at the highest level, does not mean when push-comes-to-shove they wont be capable of competing at that level. Do we really want very expensive billy-big-bullocks-cum-Johnny Foreigners in the dressing room f**king the team spirit up ? I still like the idea of an authoritative experienced midfield general (maybe NA sees this in Davis) and a seasoned CB (I dont think on the strength of last season that Fonte is up to this level) and GK, but lets see...
  22. Will never happen - he takes himself too seriously.
  23. The SFA is a worse-run organisation than the UK Government.
  24. Attention-seeking troll.
