  1. Well I dont think I did, but dont let that stop you with your smug-in-hindsight "I knew we'd only lose one game in the last 15" tone...
  2. Ho hum. Another person who cant read..
  3. Yes, I was very worried. But I am very happy with our return of points, and how we faced-up to the challenge of the other teams that will be there or thereabouts. Having got through October so well, its hard to see what is going to trip us up, but this is Southampton FC after all, so I will remain cautiously optimistic.
  4. You are too modest; that was damn good predicting. A pity if you had no money on it.
  5. Apology accepted
  6. Hang on, Connolly p*ssed in your pool a little though, didnt he ? Maybe Connolly should be used as an impact sub; a double-change with SDR at the same time when we need a little boost.
  7. Well chuffed. Also made my son happy after his team got tonked 8-1.
  8. No they wouldnt. It would be 3 points
  9. And how was Fonte ?
  10. How did Lallana do, and was it the difference ?
  11. The last 4 matches, you complete d*ckhead...
  12. Yeah, but if only we'd done better at the likes of Reading. The season would be over because we'd be over the horizon by now. Why oh why cant we get it together away ??
  13. Yep, cant argue with that. And the fact that we've come through it unbeaten.
  14. I've just come in from shredding in the garden, and am struggling to believe my eyes. This is superb, and pleased for the two goalscorers who have received so much stick recently.
  15. The BBCs widlife and natural world documentaries are in a class of their own. They are the best in the world by a long, long, way. The live sports coverage is also the best I have ever come across in terms of camera direction. The costume drama is also without peer, though I think too high a percentage of the licence fee revenue is spent on this. What lets the side down at the BBC is its god-awful, biased, dumbed-down news departments, TV and radio.
  16. I agree completely with the soggy one. I've watched my eldest get better and better with every game this season, even after thumpings.
  17. And that is exactly the reason why I am saying that the Palace game was an eye-opener in terms of squad depth. We chose not to play Rickie, and as a result were toothless. The message is clear - if Rickie loses form or gets injured, our League campaign is f**ked.
  18. Yep, great point. All this rebellion and crusading, none of them has a f**king clue what to replace the target of the bile and vitriol with.
  19. Come on, does anybody take these protests seriously anyway ? They are always populated by the Charlie Gilmours of life. Rich, privelleged w*nkers who somehow feel they are enlightened compared to the proles and therefore are entitled to tell the rest of us how to live our lives.
  20. I like this summary. I am finding it very hard to be devastated about losing last night and being out of the cup, if I am completely honest, but I am concerned about what it means about team "momentum and mentality". A win last night would have been a nice confidence boost for our next league away game.
  21. The UK has been lumbered with a lame duck of a PM, depending on a bunch of selfish, ambitious, clueless cretins to prop up his majority.
  22. Jackie, maybe you arent aware of this, but there is a body of opinion round here that thinks we dont need to strengthen in January...
  23. Not from the team, it wasnt.
  24. Maybe its time to lose a home game, a worrying level of complacency has set in around everyone associated with SFC, it sems.
