But surely this isnt going to wait ? The new season starts in 3 months, and we have no idea how long the appeal will take. Besides, why is this nothing to do with him suddenly ? Firstly, it affects the value of SLHs assets AND he was busy commenting on his anger at the FL decision a week ago..

Decided we couldnt afford the lawyer, or what ?
-
We will walk this league It will be great to win more games next season

Totally and utterly irrelevant. What the f**k has his feelings got to do with it ? I am asking that considering we are potentialy a week away from folding and he brokers a deal that saves us and puts us back on the road to success, will history look back on his acheivement with the same sort of regard as Matty scoring 35-odd goals a season back in the 90s ? Its an issue of historical contribution, not emotion. And once again, I dont understand why people fail to see that MLT was doing his job, too..
-
Fair comment. But do you not feel there are good administrators and bad administrators too ? I felt he wanted SFC to survive as a going concern, not just asset strip for debt recovery.
-
And Le Tissier wasnt "doing his job" ? I dont agree. Both will have saved the club from oblivion at different times. I certainly see parallels.

Barclays and Aviva: Something we can all agree with Rupert Lowe on

I dont agree at all with this. I was brought up to believe "two wrongs dont make a right" -
Blinkered.

Who said he isnt doing a good job ? (yes, I did at first, but have been impressed since I saw his press conference following the -10pt announcement) I expressed the concern that people have been wasting his time. COMPLETELY different.

If Mark Fry does manage to strike a deal that puts us in safe (non-Lowe by definition) hands, with a bit of rebuilding money and the hope of a positive future which at some point really materialises, does his contribution to SFC history stand along side the likes of Matt Le Tiss ?
-
Wow, turn the issue into a childish piissing contest, why dont you ??

Someone send Luker an e-mail if you have his address. In my opinion, its pretty poor form of the club (again) not to post a note on the OS or the Echo about the number of disadvantaged kids who had an afternoon out thanks to our charity. I hope the cyncial side of me that thinks the club actually did sod-all with the donated tickets is wrong...

Reading between the lines, this doesnt sound good. It sounds like he's been having his time wasted.

Links are OK, arent they ?

Dont mind a second thread - its such great news its worth repeating.

At the risk of inciting scorn, so long as it is anyone but Lowe I dont care. Note this is heavily based on Mark Fry's comments that 3 parties have passed proof-of-funds.

A game flushed with riches should find way to save Southampton

Great article. Some one mail it to that c**t Richard Scudamore. -
Agree with this assessment, and I reckon Lowe is thorough enough that it is with him personally as well as SFC / SLH

I think it very important that this story is written, Dunc. Any chance of you getting a comission from someone to research and write it ?

FFS. It wasnt a risk, it was a nailed-on certainty.

The more time the police seem to have to plan, prepare and resource and given public event with risk of violence or disorder, the bigger the f**king mess they seem to make..

Nah, he would have called the "Lunatic Fringe" ;-)
