Laugh all you want, that'll buy a brand new Lada.
  2. On the subject of Corden, one of his writers has stitched him right up here.
  3. It’s not relevant, that whole post is just empty whataboutery. If you genuinely can’t see why we (Britain and the EU) might have more of a vested interested in a nuclear armed genocidal dictator trying to get the USSR back together, than a civil war with Houthi rebels, I can’t explain it to you. I don’t care what he wants, he doesn’t have a prayer of delivering on it. Nuclear weapons are Putin’s last big chip on the world stage, he isn’t letting go of them. If he wants to end all war, he can go and be Miss Teen America and cure cancer whilst he’s at it.
  4. I give a sh*t. So do Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Finns, Estonians, Poles, Slovaks, Hungarians and Latvians. Why you’re randomly bringing up an invasion from two decades again in defence of Corbyn, and what relevance it has to anything, I don’t know. This seems a bizarre view for someone who’s pro-EU on the Brexit thread.
  5. Me neither, looks like these toffee onions may be going in the bin.
  6. This is a delusion that the far left of Labour have long clung to, that anyone who doesn’t like them must have been brainwashed by the right wing press and cultural rhetoric. If Europe was run by people like Corbyn, forget Brexit the EU would cease to exist. Putin would have annexed half of the countries in it, whilst Jezza sat there dismantling our nuclear deterrent and lecturing us about how it’s all our fault, NATO expanded too aggressively. I don’t need the Daily Mail to tell me that, he’s said as much from his own mouth and was tweeting his support for an anti-NATO rally even as tanks were rolling towards Kyiv. As for Owen Jones; he’s a nasty, angry misogynist, hell bent on denying the existence of women in any meaningful context, instead labelling them as ‘birth givers’ and ‘chest feeders’, whilst unilaterally assuming their consent for grown men to see them naked in a changing room. He seems to have it in for Starmer for daring to be electable and replacing his idealistic poster boy.
  7. Good, one fewer right wing crackpot ruling the world. I can’t imagine his hopeless Covid denial and stubborn inaction did him too many favours.
  8. They’ve got an open goal, they just need to tap it in. No taking the knee No confirming their pronouns No suggestions of 8pm curfews for men, even as a joke, when a woman is assaulted No CND stuff No Dianne Abbott No Owen Jones Just don’t even mention Israel, or anything related to Judaism, full stop.
  9. You can but those parties seem to be increasingly sparse these days. Those women all have kids now, born in late July.
  10. Halloween parties always used to be the best of the year, IMO. Seeing all the girls I know choosing between: Slutty cat Slutty cheerleader Slutty nurse Slutty witch Slutty nun Slutty Disney princess Slutty prostitute Slutty devil
  11. The "other players out there who have scored more goals," which were mention in Billy's post. Yes, I agree entirely but he didn't because he's a substandard PL player, even though he's our best striker. I'm not defending Che Adams, I'm saying he's the best we've been able to afford in the last few years.
  12. Just looking at last years top scorers, the only players with double figures who would have been in our price range are: Jamie Vardy, signed for £2m in the Championship, ten years ago and struggled to start with even at that level. Teemu Pukki, Norwich picked him up on a free. Fair play but 10 and 11 goals in two campaigns is hardly astonishing. Emmanuel Dennis, scraped ten goals thanks to a patch of six in two months around Christmas. Has three goals in 2022. So I'm afraid I'm still none the wiser, really.
  13. Well, Adams scored 7 PL goals last season and has 3 so far this season, whereas Edouard had 6 last season and 3 this, but okay.
  14. Which reliable premier league scorers, available for £15m, are you referring to, just out of interest?
  15. All you’re doing is cherry picking other teams better results and saying we should be like that, without ever actually explaining what, “have a go at,” actually means. What do you want us to do, commit more men forwards and leave more space in behind? You mention Leeds and Forrest against Liverpool but not Bournemouth, why’s that? Leicester lost 6-2 at Spurs, Forrest themselves lost 6-0 at City, even Man Utd found themselves 4-0 down at HT against City.
  16. Luck doesn’t come into it. We’ve consistently been buying the cheapest players in the league for several seasons now and to top it off our four best players have medium-long term injures. People are talking as if a one goal defeat is just the bog standard result you get for not even trying and that if you just say, “Have a go FFS!!” We might outperform squads which cost twice as much and win a thrilling 4-3 encounter. Sure, I’d love for us to be doing a lot better. If anyone can arrange for us to win the quadruple five years in a row, then declare Southampton to be an independent sovereign nation and win the World Cup too, I’ll gladly take that. Sadly, where we are right now is the reality of what we’ve spent, no matter what anyone on here wants.
  17. Come the end of the season, as a rule of thumb, we need 40 points to stay up. Whether that’s against Leeds, Forrest, Villa, Bournemouth or whoever I don’t particularly care, that’s pretty much always been the case. Watching Saints is a miserable, joyless affair most of the time, without slitting our wrists over every point, every team in the bottom half scores, as well. Let’s just enjoy Liverpool being sh*t and losing at Anfield, God help us if we can’t even do that.
  18. Full time, priceless. 😂
  19. Like we did against Liverpool last year and ended up 4-0 down at half time? You speak as if a draw is somehow a default setting and that even a one goal defeat constitutes a lack of effort. This is the Premier League, you have to work your backsides off just to not get spanked. If nothing else we’re keeping it tight at the back and we’re in with a chance in every game.
  20. I think it’s a bit much to be talking about a player ‘regressing’ under Ralph on the back of 20 decent minutes as a late sub against Leeds. This is a player who scored six goals in France last season. Clearly the scouts saw something about him to sign him but it’s quite a stretch to be blaming Ralph for Mara not being the answer.
  21. When you're walking past someone stood still, eg. in a bar or supermarket, they set off into your personal space and you're in each others way. Just wait two seconds for me to walk past you, how hard is it?
  22. So to sum up, he's worse than George Michael but not as bad as Ian Watkins.
  23. I’m not laying into her son, the whole point is SHE is the one who exploits him. He’s quite obviously a target for trolls because of his weight, disabilities and being mixed race, so she makes sure he’s in the public eye as much as possible so that she can cash in on the abuse. All I’ve done is point out what she is doing, it’s horrendous. She taught him to say, "hello you c**ts!" On national TV for crying out loud. As for being an alcoholic, well she smashed her car up whilst off her face on drink and Charlie last year. If you’re drinking is putting lives at risk, I’d say that’s a pretty big problem.

A recluse in an underground bunker, he really is playing all the Nazi greatest hits. When he marries a woman and shoots his dog, we’ll know there’s only about 24 hours left.
  25. Katie Price has got to be the tw*ttiest tw*t going. Never done a day’s proper work in her life, spent her early ‘career’ whipping her plastic baps out for white van drivers in the Sun, sleeping with any celebrity she could get her claws into and selling the story to any journalist who’d listen. Now she’s too old for that, she makes a living waving her obese, disabled, mixed-race son in front of the internet trolls, knowing that he’ll be abused, so that she can play the victim of that and sell the stories to the press once again. Also an alcoholic and habitual drink driver, she sells yet more ‘exclusives’ to the media, where she acts the victim of her mental health problems. Vile woman.
