  1. Evening Tiss, nice to have you back mush. I do love the irony of the fact that the "project fear, population control, sheeple etc." brigade are the ones who seem to be terrified prisoners in their own mind. Most of the world had their jabs, moved on and went back to normal. I’ve barely thought about Covid since I caught it on a ski trip in January, something I’m looking forward to doing without restriction for the first time in three years, this winter.
  2. It wasn’t tested but it was very likely based on how viruses behave. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if you’re less severely ill for a shorter period of time, you’re probably less likely to pass it around. There’s also the fact that lots of people are stupid and say stuff like, "I’m fit and healthy and trust my immune system," so don’t get vaccinated. The best way to connect with them might be to point out that they’re putting others, including elderly loved ones, at risk.
  3. I don’t agree with him on that, the team has the potential to be better and has already shown some improvements in areas. I think we’re being badly let down by the form of our three fit central midfielders and Lavia’s injury.
  4. Surely that was Pardew?
  5. Note to self, don’t attempt sarcasm on the internet.
  6. Yeah, those six goals really flattered Ralph. Nobody else in the league has a striker who can do that.
  7. ABK and Lavia are both clearly decent. In the four games both have played, we have seven points. The rest we’re going to need to be patient with, although Baz and Aribo have shown intermittent positive moments. We did bring in a striker. I’d have liked another but we did bring in Mara however you try and dress it up.
  8. I said that at the time because I think we did as well as we could with the money we had available. Clearly SR are not super rich and will be spending modestly. The players we've signed look promising but most of them have yet to deliver, so the jury is out. I think we were right to try what we did, rather than sign a bunch more Armstrongs and Mois, which realistically is what we can afford.
  9. What is it you think you have proof/evidence of there? Assuming this guy isn’t misquoting what he was told, the fact that they weren’t able to test how the vaccine affects transmissibility at the time of introduction isn’t really news. It was tested in laboratories and on volunteers for its effects on the virus and more importantly to ensure there were no significant negative side effects. You can’t test it for real world transmission because there are far too many variables in the real world; time and distance people spent in contact with each other, ventilation, number of people together, atmospheric conditions etc. All they could really say was that based on the science it should reduce the rate of infection.
  10. It was our best transfer window since 2014, that doesn’t mean we don’t still have one of the weakest squads in the league. It was sh*te before, it’s better now, it’s still a long way off being competitive.

Well that's alright then, we'd have wiped out most of their military in about four.
  12. Changing the subject, Zidane was not a world class player. He only won the World Cup once and that was with a squad full of really talented players.

That’ll go down a treat, they were already on the verge of revolution before all of this. Christ knows how a one way ticket to NATOs Ukrainian meat grinder is going to play in the streets of Minsk.
  14. I'm judging them both on this season. Rodgers has four points and recently bottled a winning position against Bournemouth. We have seven with worse players. In the last four years Vardy has scored 18, 23, 17, 17. Last season Leicester finished on 52 points. The season Ings was banging them in for us, Ralph's team got exactly the same, 52 points. Now Vardy can't hit a cow's a*se with a banjo, Leicester are on their way to relegation, so what is it you think Rodger's is going to do with either Che Adams and Sekou Mara to get them averaging 19 goals a season?
  15. I'm fairly convinced that none of you are real and that this whole website is like the ballroom in The Shining. That's the sh*ttest Haiku I've ever read.
  16. Personally I’m astonished at how high house prices are right now, given that this experimental vaccine has killed 20% of the population. There should be entire streets full of empty properties that estate agents can’t give away but there aren’t. I’m just counting my blessings at how incredibly fortunate I’ve been; all these people murdered by our government and not one single person I know, or anyone in their families or any of their friends has been one of them. The worst I’ve heard is a couple of people with a fever and elevated heart rate for the rest of the afternoon.
  17. Boufal scored a worldie on what I think was his debut. He scored a couple more against Boro and West Brom, the problem was the year of nothingness between each one.

When I see a convoy of vehicles tens of km long leaving Lviv I might be inclined to believe that. Ukrainians already know, and have done since February, they’re in an existential fight against a tyrant who wants to wipe them out and claim their land for his own Russian empire. This is nothing new to them and as scary as it is it won’t change their resolve in the slightest. It’ll just reaffirm their need to fight for every inch of their homeland. For Russians in Crimea it’s different, they’ve been sunning their arses on holiday, oblivious to the, "special military operation to remove Nazis," happening hundreds of miles away. I don’t know why you’re insisting it’s just some symbolic hole in a bridge that’s easily repaired. Firstly I’d wager the intent was to do more damage and possibly collapse a portion of it. Secondly, as I said, this will mean more forces need to be held back to protect the bridge against further attacks and carry out checks on vehicles crossing. It’s all resources which will be drained from the front line.

It’s not irrelevant. If anything’s irrelevant it’s these missile attacks, in the grand scheme of the war. Killing a few innocent people in Lviv and Kyiv will have no detrimental effect on Ukraine’s military. What they will gain is putting the bridge out of order and disrupting military supplies to the entire southern region. Even the idea of disruption will have an effect, when the airbase was attacked a couple of months back, tens of thousands of Russians fled crimea. Now there is talk of disrupted supplies, more are fleeing, others are panic buying, the military have to second guess if the bridge will be attacked again, security has to be beefed up etc.
  20. No, it’s because he’s bottom of the table with Maddison, Ihenacho, Tielemans, Vardy, Daka, Soyuncu, KDH and co.
  21. Even a retired footballer would absolutely cash in big time on media and punditry work.

Agreed. I can’t tell if this is a wind up or if he genuinely believes it but either way, it’s fantastic. Either way, RT would be reading his posts and thinking, “easy now…”
  23. But we spent massive this summer, enough to buy 0.95 Nicolas Pepes.
  24. Time to top up those Qatar Airways loyalty points, Trent.
  25. Good reading and movement there Trent.
