I think it’s a fairly simplistic thought process. Angry, shouty English man = leadership, passion, getting things organised and understanding this league.

If you saw the amount of sh*te I move or delete from the main board, you wouldn’t be saying that. Some of it from people who you are clearly opposed to, some of it from you and people you’ve agreed with. We’ve also banned numerous posters who clearly have nothing better to do than try and get a rise out of people. I may not agree with the likes of Duck, Turkish, Hypo and Weston on a number of issues but that’s not grounds to ban them. If it was, you’d be on the list too; this was a fairly sensible thread about what is clearly an emotive and complex subject until you came in and called a bunch of posters right wing virgins. That coupled with all your frequent threads/posts about rape makes for rather tiresome reading.

Shame the next game isn’t Arsenal away, then we could start the season with three fixtures we’ve won a combined total of once in 20 years. I think we can file this one under ‘license to print money at the bookies’ although what odds you’d get on anything other than a crushing United victory I can’t imagine. Team… second game of the season and I already don’t care. Pick either of our sh*te goalkeepers at random and stick 10 bodies somewhere in front of him.

The cognitive dissonance required to process this post is mind blowing.

You say all that as if it helps somehow. The best ‘keeper I’ve seen play for Saints is Niemi and the Finns are hardly known for being confrontational gobsh*tes.

Apparently we give out large contracts to the likes of Long and Walcott because they’re great characters to have in the dressing room. Thank goodness for that; I’d hate to see what this lot would be like if they were lacking organisation, camaraderie, leadership, resilience and character.

In both Koeman’s seasons we started the campaign with a squad which was clearly a player or two light and didn’t get a good result. We never win the opening fixture or at Goodison, so good to get that boll*cks out the way immediately. Hopefully this will be like the first season up. We get all our sh*tty fixtures lost at the beginning of the season and move on from there when the team improves.

Then you clearly didn’t watch the end of that game.

Valery came on against Liverpool and was superb as an outlet in a more forward role. I’m not against having him in the squad as such.

Ings starts Vest on bench Bertrand not in squad.
-
Also Moi makes the bench ahead of Banjo.

He was right, that’s certainly interesting. No Forster, KWP, Bednarek or Stu.

I may get this embroidered and framed, above my mantle piece.

And you wonder why some on here pick on you. 🙄

In real life, obviously. There is however a certain stigma associated with dating apps, you’re in effect making yourself more accessible. ‘Easier’ in other words, which is not something a lot of women want to be seen as.
-
Dating apps like Tinder also play a significant part in what’s wrong with young people trying to date these days. I don’t know if this chap was using them but I think we can assume for a 22 year old virgin it’s fairly likely. I saw a video a while back in which someone explained that (I forget the exact percentage) men swiped right (yes) on roughly half the women they were swiping through but women only swiped right on roughly 5%. It makes sense when you consider our basic instincts; men looking to spread our seed as far and wide as possible, women looking for the best possible sperm donor. So now you’ve got a situation like this; supposing you have 100 men and 10 women on tinder (and the sausage ratio is that bad) and the women swipe right on the following guys (numbered 1-100) Woman 1 - Guy 1,2,3,4,5 Woman 2 - Guy 3,7,8 Woman 3 - Guy 2 and 9 (she’s a bit choosy) Woman 4 - Guy 1,6,7,8,9,10 etc. You’re left with guys 11-100 with basically nothing, feeling worthless, angry, unattractive and resentful towards women, whilst guys 1-10 get all the matches. Guys 1-10 are, as they would describe it, swimming in p*ssy. With an endless supply of ‘girls on tap’ they’re clearly going to treat them with anything but respect. You’ve got, let’s say, six girls hooked on the line but you only want to shag one this evening - don’t waste time with romance and conversation, just send out a few dick pics and see what happens. Four of them will probably be disgusted but who cares about them when you only need one to say yes. So this is the world of dating apps. You’ve got 90% guys resenting women because they feel rejected, 10% who are complete misogynists because women are a disposable, sexual commodity and a whole bunch of completely misleading headlines about, "65% of women say they have received indecent images or messages on dating apps!" Which they obviously have but they’re getting them all from the same 3-5% of guys, not 65%.

I’m not confident of Man City’s chances of retaining the title either. Their destiny won’t be in their own hands, they’re relying on all 19 other teams being worse than them. Would be a pretty unlikely coincidence.

This headline. Not the actual story, just the headline. https://inews.co.uk/news/uk/labour-leader-sir-keir-starmer-geronimo-alpaca-must-die-1147178

Newport away, that'll do.

Being a Saints fan, these days.

It's very similar to the Hojbjerg situation, having a year left really doesn't give us much room to bargain. Seems a reasonable fee to me considering the circumstances. -
TBF if I was 34 and leaving a place where I'd lived and worked my entire life, being adored like some sort of god for over a decade in the process, was forced to leave and was then offered £2m a month... I'd probably react in exactly the same way.

Yugoslavia has a history of ethnic tension going back centuries and the collapse of all the communist governments in the late 80s just set everything off. It’s not really relevant to this issue. I don’t know much about Hungary but had an ex. Who is Polish and it struck me whenever I went there just how set in its ways and gripped by Christianity the place is. A lot of the younger generation are p*ssed off with the anti-abortion and LGBT attitudes of the establishment.
