Haven’t got a video but it was the Lino who told the ref to give him a second yellow. Prutton disagreed and tried to get in the Lino’s face, the ref tried to stand him his way. Prutton was looking straight past the ref, I don’t think he even realised he’d pushed him. It was a ridiculous ban, the same as Barton got for actually assaulting half of Man City’s team a few years ago.

As good as Begum or Knox?

As ever with Twitter, when stuff like that is trending it’s 90% people letting everyone know how, "disgusted and appalled but sadly not surprised," they are that it’s trending, with no sense of irony.

There's clearly more to that comment that what's in the public domain. Even if the Poland game is a higher priority, it's not as if they're the same weekend and he has to choose between them. If JB has some personal issue which Ralph hasn't mentioned then I'll leave it up to the latter to judge whether he's mentally fit to play.

You're still missing the bigger picture. Getting involved with an active military intervention presents a huge number and severity of consequences with very little achieved in terms of real world gains. Russian air power is not the decisive factor in this conflict. It's clear now that Russia doesn't have the economy or the military power to do much other than attack Ukraine and possibly Moldova. As cruel as it is on the Ukrainians, who I greatly admire, I think we're relatively content to let Russia blow their load on this conflict. They're getting embarrassed in a war they should have won quickly and easily. They will struggle to commit more resources to this because they can't afford to replace most of it, meanwhile we can keep drip feeding Ukraine with sophisticated weapons which knock out their hardware. The end game, as I see it, is a prolonged, bloody stalemate and the erosion of Russia's reputation as any kind of superpower.

I wouldn’t be disappointed or surprised if JB and JS both left and were replaced by a new signing and Simeu in our first choice selection.

I don't know if you're more or less scared of stuff at that age. I'm in my thirties and sh*t my pants sat in front of a two person job interview panel.

We covered this a few days ago, if you missed it….

You still haven’t said why and on what grounds. I think it’s fairly apparent now that he doesn’t have the capacity to attack any nato territory, the war in Ukraine will grind on until Russia has loose control over an unknown amount of land and urban areas. Russia aren’t going to be launching into some massive arms race, they’ve barely got the budget to maintain their current inventory. And you still haven’t said why China wants a military conflict with the west.
-
Let him go, without doubt. This will then be followed by comments from gormless pundits about how we're going to struggle because we've lost our first choice 'keeper.
-
This is basically on the money. aint, your point is a non-sequitur. There's no appetite from anyone for a military conflict here, except Putin. A begging, desperate Russia, whilst also maintaining trade with the West and avoiding conflict, suits China just fine.
-
None of that has anything to do with what you just said; why would China want to launch a full scale military assault against NATO?
-
Why, what’s China’s motivation to escalate this situation? What is there in Ukraine that China would want to go to war with a nuclear superpower over?
-
Winning a cup is basically 6 consecutive wins, when was the last time we did that in the top division? If you’re looking for underdog winners it basically just Wigan and Pompey since the Crazy Gang about 35 years ago.
-
Neither are Premier League strikers, that’s pretty much my point.
-
But that’s what billions of Dirhams buys you, top quality players who finish their chances. As opposed to a £15m striker and whatever Shane Long is.
-
Fair play, he whacked that hard enough.
-
Armstrong just has no confidence when he shoots. Needs playing time and a goal, badly.
-
Reminds me a bit of that hopeless 4-0 thumping we got in the QF by Man U in 2005, except against Crystal Palace. 😆
-
Shane Long is going to get another contract, isn't he. 🙄
-
This could be the end of Andros Townsend’s season, not going to help Everton.
-
A fifth general killed apparently. Is there a sticker album where you get to collect all 20?
-
You'd bite my hand off to lose 7 of our last 9 games?
-
Is it really time for the, "yeah but what if we score minus four points from our last 12 games," posts again? Wouldn't be March without it.

All going against Leeds tonight.
