Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?
Lighthouse replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
No. We will lose to Man City and the narrative will be, "we still need 7 points to stay up, 8 with our GD and I can’t see where the next win is coming from." -
Not really, if you look back at it. He was injured in the last 25 mins of our 3rd consecutive defeat and prior to the Liverpool game he played the full 90 in insipid displays against Fulham and West Ham. Our poor form began a good 6 games before he was injured and that’s not including the blank we drew against Man City.
-
Proposition: If he keeps playing this way, we can save money on signing Walcott and spend it on replacing Ings/Bertrand instead. Discuss.

I thought of that pen. And Tella joke first half.
-
Send the pr*ck off.
-
Now that would be a sight to behold.
-
I can live with that sub, 2-0 up after 75 minutes.
-
Ooooh, that was going in.
-
My money was on a slight brush of Armstrong’s sleeve in the layoff.
-
Foot like a traction engine!
-
Oooohhhhhhhh! He fucking meant that!
-
30 seconds into the second half and they’re 4 vs 2 into our box. The usual half time ketamine I’m guessing.
-
With one sub burned already? No thanks, need to keep it like this for the foreseeable.
-
Book him for that, seriously.
-
Ohhh Che...
-
"Never in doubt." Erm....
-
Redmond with about 6 years of consistent top flight football behind him? Yes, I think we’d quite rightly be more annoyed.
-
Yep. Nothing gets clubs fighting over your contract like not playing for several months and having a poor injury record.
-
Two months ago, that would have really annoyed me.
-
I reckon we’ve got, "why play a simple forward pass when you could play a needlessly complicated, hospital ball across your own half," written in Latin over the entrance to Staplewood.
-
-
That’s as good a team as we can put out and, aside from Rom, probably our strongest XI.

Make sure you update Acrobat Reader.

TBH there're a whole bunch of 'new' personas recently who have a vague whiff of familiarity about them. If this is indeed our old friend Brett, he's managed to avoid sonar detection for a few weeks longer than after his previous reincarnation.

I do wonder if there's an element of being so terrified of offending people that we (as a society) just go with what seems agreeable and not necessarily the best solution for those involved. I'm not sure the phrase 'LGBT' is necessarily accurate; I think the 'T' is a separate issue, which should be treated differently. I can't see why a form of body dysmorphic disorder should be lumped in with being gay or lesbian, seems like rather a lazy association to make.
