There is no 'new age obsession' with anything. Paul Onuachu is a substandard footballer and his fitness is awful. The fact that he's 31 and Racing Genk is the only other club who's ever forked out money to buy him should tell you something. If the 'dangerous specialist situations' you're talking about are the two headed goals he's scored in his whole Saints career, I'm fairly comfortable we'll be able to replicate that with a fairly average CB, at set pieces.

TBH that sounds like a cracking toasted sandwich maker. We are seriously going to miss him though. I thought the punk kit was quite decent. Not decent enough to part with £60 but one of our better efforts.

He didn't play less than half the season, he scored 4 in 28 appearances. He would have to play about 70 games at that rate to break into double figures. He's crap, his fitness is awful and we'll hopefully be well rid of him in a week or two.

I'd have him over Ings next season, if it was a straight 50:50 choice, 100%.

He's 33 and very obviously has fitness issues. Even if he doesn't, saying he's fully fit, has two goals in two years and can't get in the team even after Antonio's car accident is hardly a ringing endorsement. He hasn't been a class above anything for years and if he hadn't been here before nobody would be advocating for his signature.

Ings has two goals in the last two years and isn't fit. Have you learned nothing from Lallana this season?

Well, that was dreadful but then Surrey do bat England internationals all the way through, then follow it up with the ball. We're going to need better players to make it to finals day in the next few years. Hopefully this is the last season of Wood and Howell, complete mediocrity.
