I wonder if Fellows is injured. If that’s tactical then f*ck me.
-
I know! I hate how despite having all this talent, we’re only going to finish fourth and get promoted in spite of Will Still.
-
All of these players have been decent at this level for other clubs. It’s time we started getting them playing to their actual ability, not putting in this circus show every game.
-
Roeslev and Jelert for Edwards and Manning, if you ask me, go to a back four.
-
Fuck me sideways….
-
Manning’s turn for an utterly senseless booking, mouthing off for no reason.
-
That Hull team that mugged us off is now 2-0 down after 10 mins, at home to Preston.
-
Why does he have to score? It was decent pressing and he forced an error, not like he missed a sitter.
-
Weird that they’ve announced their team, they don’t play Fenerbahce for another two days.
-
He may be a bottom half PL player but he’d still walk into any Championship team. As it happens he’ll probably end up on loan to someone like Brentford or Wolves in January.
-
I’d have TV back next season in a heartbeat. I’ve no idea how much of it he’d be available for with Indian domestic and international matches but I’d have him when available. County cricket looks to be heading towards being a patched up league of ringers anyway, like a team of dads in a five a side league, where half of them have to pick their kids up from violin lessons on any given match day. Who is out of contract, on the subject? Keith has gone, I’m guessing we won’t hang on to Stoneman. Wood (uuughh), Brown and Abbott signed new deals, I think most of our younger lads are signed up until at least the end of next year. Howell I think is out of contract .
-
I think they need to concentrate more on finding decent batsmen, rather than a fish.
-
No f**king way! Watch us get another points deduction for a crap wicket.
-
Durham have got a day, minus weather delays, to defend ten wickets. Obviously Hants would be AO by tea but I think they'll most likely see it out, especially with Yorks now having nothing to play for.

Historic Saints team based on terrace chants
Lighthouse replied to Patrick Bateman's topic in The Saints
The greatest foul there ever was and ever will be, just a shame it wasn't on the dust loving midget. -
We had a day and a half to chase a very low total, no time pressure at all, and yet only four batsmen managed to stay at the crease for more than twenty balls.
-
Bad light, as if it couldn’t get more ignominious, we’re all going to have to come back in the morning and finish this farce.

Put Armstrong on the left, on the right we need the greatest football chant ever written. Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve! -
Always a good idea if you leave them outside overnight and they're cold.
-
Errrr... no, that's horse racing. Try again.
-
121/8. All done, pathetic.
-
Crucial start to the day getting those two out. Could be the difference between chasing 250 and 150, and I wouldn’t bet on us doing either.
-
Not won a league game by more than a one goal margin since we beat Preston in April 2024, although you could count beating West Brom 3-1 in the playoffs.

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg
Lighthouse replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
I’m guessing you’re just making sarky comments because it’s me that posted it and Kraken’s got to Kraken. I think most fans can probably figure out who scored 24 in L1, then 10 in 13 before getting injured in the Championship. Sadly it’s a mystery you’ll have to take to the grave. -
Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg
Lighthouse replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Despite only playing 13 games before his injury, his 10 goals in a Championship season has only been beaten once (barely) by McB since 2019. He also scored 24 in League 1 the year before, which is better than Kone. This is nothing more than people saying we should have signed the flavour of the month, which is just inane.
