I’m no good at drawing but perhaps the outline of the spire of St. Mary’s church, with a large may flower at the bottom. Would look a bit less gimmicky.

Weirdly, I was reading a travel review yesterday implying the same thing. I guess I’d always though of it as far away, exotic and cultural but others have said it’s just the Ozzy Benidorm.

Juve has got to be the worst one out there. Someone probably got half a million Euros to come up with a J but with another line next to it.

Looks like a logo in some 8-bit 90s video game.

Tattooed arseholes on bleached opera singers?

Used to be that if you had a big bushy beard and full sleeve tattoos, you were hard as f*ck. These days it means you went to art college. Girls with loads of tats aren’t my thing but to each their own. What I really don’t get are the lips which look like they’ve had an allergic reaction or bee sting.

Homes with high ceilings. I keep hearing/reading people say how wonderfully spacious they are but to me it’s just a waste of space you can’t use. Plus in winter it’s just more air to heat, the warmest of which you don’t feel. 🤷♂️

This thread’s getting a bit too abstract for me now, I’m out.

If you wash a toupee over 60 degrees the colour tends to wash out.

So give him diversity training. This goes well beyond anything to do with equality and diversity, it’s a 21st century witch-hunt.

The way I read his comments, these were more observations. Have we reached a stage where simply pointing out imbalances and stereotypes has become frowned upon? How can we address any of these issues if they can't even be referred to in conversation? The problem with saying 'young girls don't like a football being kicked in their face,' is that the only responses you get are from female footballers who disagree. I can only provided anecdotal evidence from my own childhood but that was largely true of the girls in my year. Girls played football in PE but not with any real enthusiasm and I can't remember any of them choosing to play it in their own free time or lunch break.

Would seem an odd one. We don’t need an attacker and he struggled to get into a pretty ropey Sunderland team. Can only assume he’s improved a lot since then if we’re having a serious look.

Standard clickbait headline. I'm surprised there wasn't a stock photo of a random hot (but photoshopped) woman who turns out to have nothing to do with the actual article. My favourite is 'Top 20 hilarious wedding fails, number 4 will shock you. Can this be real!?' With a photo of a 'bride' who's tits could do with their own wheelbarrow.

I can enjoy that because the characters actually have personality. I just can’t stand the laziness of pulling a random animal and accent out of a hat and calling it a character. Scouse owl, Swedish octopus... there you go now talk about the new Mercedes something or other. The travelators themselves are useful but I agree on the f**kwits who stand on them and therefore end up moving slower than if they were actually walking. Lazy pricks.

Any advert where they give an animal a regional accent. That Scottish mouthwash donkey is my current peeve.

One thing I do find ridiculous about this is the disclaimer on the BBC news story; "Warning: This report contains offensive language." If you need to be warned that you're about to read a news report, referencing the word, 'coloured' in the third person, I would suggest this planet isn't for you. You need to move back into your parents house and go and sit in your safe space.

He even shook his head as he was saying it. Almost felt sorry for him but his name’s one letter off being Pompey, so he can f**k off.
-
Apart from the repeated denial of ever having done anything wrong and refusing to apologise even after being heavily criticised for it?
-
He quite clearly never intended to cause offence but that doesn’t seem to matter anymore. Phrases like, ‘coloured’ and ‘life choices’ are at worst mildly ignorant and should have been rectified with a simple apology, there was no malice in anything he said.

😐 I hope you’re proud of yourself.

I hate when people blame the fans for this. If that genuinely is the reason, that's on the players for being incredibly mentally frail, not us. Newcastle and West Ham fans are far more volatile when things aren't going their way at home. We're generally quite supportive, even if St Mary's isn't the loudest. If a few middle class fans tutting into their prawn sandwiches upsets them then lord help us if we get into Europe and have to go to Galatasaray or Partizan Belgrade.

Tadič had a skill and change of direction which could leave the best defenders flat on their arse. We all remember that Chelsea game when he had Ivanovic dancing a merry jig and there was a game against Norwich when he had Whittaker hopelessly chasing shadows; ended up getting sent off for two yellows inside about 25 minutes. Moi has none of that, he just sort of wishes the defender wasn’t there so he could put a cross in.
-
Yes and then when we watched him actually try and replicate that for us in the Premier League, we’d be thoroughly disappointed.

Surely 90% will be enough to generate herd immunity IF the vaccine prevents people from being asymptomatic carriers. If not and the virus continues to spread at the same rate, then the NHS should be able to cope with the 10% who do suffer symptoms.

So that the country roads can take him home.
