  1. I'm going to go with Hyde Park Corner.
  2. Watching their first team go down to 10 after 35 mins. Herrera is such a dirty pr*ck.
  3. I know, hence 'fit and in any sort of form'. It seems like 10 goals a season could get you in these days.
  4. I'm sure I've seen a photo of LS, RL, AL, JR and JWP all holding an England shirt, the latter being U-21 capt. at that point. With Austin and J Rod fit and in any sort of form, we could easily have 6 players in the England squad. Competition up front is hardly intense, people are talking about Andre Grey getting a game. To think we once didn't have room in the squad for Ferdinand, Fowler, Andy Cole, Le Tiss and Collymore.
  5. Anyone who things we are going to sell Fraser in summer is going to be very much disappointed. He's a good Premier League 'keeper having a poor season, luckily Reed and co. will know this and won't be making knee jerk decisions to offload him.
  6. Good results for us, we were never going to catch Everton anyway. 8th very much on the cards, 7 points behind with 2 tough games in hand.
  7. Or we might have conceded a bunch of other goals in different circumstances. Like the one we conceded at OT when José made a very weak attempt to challenge Zlatan for a header.
  8. Unfortunately every man and his dog has figured that out, so he probably won't be coming here. He could well end up at City, Everton or Liverpool and won't be sitting on our bench.
  9. Fair enough, I obviously didn't pick up on that. Not that I'm bothered anyway, we're going to be mid table with a cup final and I doubt Fonte would have changed that.
  10. The only part of that he will really care about is the money. If players actually cared about stadium size, they'd be leaving Chelsea to play for Newcastle. I also don't know why living in a nice part of London would be an appeal for him. After all that waffle about wanting money to support his family, etc. The price of living there is obscene. He could live in Winchester or the New Forest cheap and have a much bigger house with more land. He doesn't have to spend nearly 50 years doing nothing. He can earn a very comfortable salary doing media or coaching.
  11. Seems very much an Everton signing to me. Would be an improvement on Robles and Stek for certain.
  12. We have him and McQ competing for the same role. One has to go or he won't get any playing time; I would argue McQ is better.
  13. If PSG did Internet forum posts...
  14. In order: Romeu Virgil Bertrand Yoshida Gabbi might well force his way onto the list too. The rest have been mediocre TBH. I like Redmonds attitude and Cedric has been improving but both have yet to be effective on a consistent basis.
  15. I don't mind players piddling about, showboating and being inconsistent, so long as they do actually produce a fair number of goals, either by creating or scoring. Messi is obviously an extreme example but you can't criticise anyone who bags over 30 goals a season. Boufal I'd have expected more of than we've seen so far. Aside from two thunderbolts against Boro and Sunderland, he has failed to deliver. Even Mané on his hopeless days, you could forgive because he was good for 10 goals a season.
  16. To think we put out a much weaker team for a first team game against Arsenal....
  17. Always think Robles sounds like a Northern darts player.
  18. Martina, J Rod, Clasie, Reed, Isgrove, Long, Gardos, Taylor, Targett and Gazzaniga can all leave as far as I'm concerned.
  19. Another absolute farce involving Man Utd. I'm so glad games are being decided like this.
  20. With any foul (including offsides) the person committing the offense should always be given the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty, as it were. For offsides, give the attacker the advantage unless you are certain he was off. For penalties, give the defender the advantage unless there was a definite foul on the attacker.
  21. That bit is up to the judgement of the referee and will always be up for debate. For something as black and white as being beyond the last man though, like Gabbi on Sunday or that mental David Silva goal against us a few years ago, it should be used. If there's any doubt, the goal should stand. The offside decision was brought in to stop goal hanging, having someone like Zigic or Crouch standing in the 6 yard box for 90 minutes. We shouldn't be disallowing goals because someone's knee 'might' be an inch past the last man.
  22. Yet it happens every week.
  23. With Cork, Bertrand and Romeu (Melis too if you go back a bit) we've certainly got history with young Chelsea players.
  24. But when he scores at Wembley The lino's f**king sh*te.
  25. It's basically 'my old mans a dustman' isn't it? Been used by a few clubs but nowhere near as much as 7NA.
